The NHS Ride Of Thanks , in aid of the North West Air Ambulance Charity on the 17th September at Barton Aerodrome , City Airport Manchester.
This is the second year running that I have done this ride , sadly last year I didn’t get to complete the route as my scooter let me down , we had a torrential rain storm and it killed all the electrics .
This year however was a lot better , glorious weather and a lovely ride out of Manchester down the East Lancs to Lowton , through Culcheth and back through Irlam , in today it was about 1.15 mins in total .
We each paid £6.50 for the privilege with all proceeds going to North West Air Ambulance Service , unfortunately there wasn’t a huge turnout of scooters this year but those of us who did were made very welcome by the bikers and marshals , a good day was had by all and all for a very good course , everyone involved in this event and it’s organisation give yourselves a well deserved pat on the back . Well done . 👍👏🏻🛵🚑🚁 .

Nice wee ride out. The bloke with the rocker jacket rocker jeans rocker style googles on the auto scoot with a learner really has me confused 🤪 but im sure he's having fun and its great to see everybody out together enjoying the day 🤗👍
