BRILLANT woodworking and saw skills. Only surprise was the use of too many nails instead of screws in base.I know white oak doesn't expand and contract much, but screws would have been better. The staples in the sliding slats will rust over time in any humid environment. Even if stainless steel staples they will loosen over time no? Having said that I could not have made this project myself. Very well done!

Nearly endlessly repeated demonstration of the sliding covers and the drawer, but never once did we see demonstrated the function for which it was purportedly built. When do we see you using as a television stand? Right now it's just a box on legs.

Is the wood really free when it takes this many hours to make it usable? And the quality of the wood is what you paid for it. How much would a nice piece of wood really cost? Imagine what he could do with nice wood and some gel stain?

Nice work. You need to put in some cable holes before final assembly. A good lubricant for wood on wood is candle wax. Just rub the track with a candle stub.
