Thanks. I had a hard time finding proper information about replacing the low-beam bulb on the passenger side of my 2015 Rav4. Information starting at 1:50 gave me what I needed.
I agree with the comments others have made, the cover is very difficult to move. I used a crowbar and pushed down on the tabs, being careful not to break them. The top position is marked for closed, but you have no idea when you are in the correct position to open the cover. It takes a little less than 1/8 turn, just before the next tab is straight up. After I found the unlock position, I took some fingernail polish and marked an alignment mark on the cover to the base so that I know where to stop the next time I remove it.
When removing the lo-beam cover (counter-clockwise) I didn't find/feel a stop point for the tabs to align and pop off as easily as the video shows. I had to get close to the area that is shown and tug-n-turn (both ways) until tabs finally aligned. Very frustrating and difficult. Also the audio calls for a (push) on the release tab at the electrical connector. To release connector it requires a (pull) ... which if you look closely and quickly ... is what the video actually shows as the super long (clean) thumbnail made look quite easy as well. Overall, this type video is very instructive and helpful. Corrections to these two type of concerns would be great !
Indeed, mine, at least the one I managed to get to turn, turned almost 180 degrees. Luckily I managed to open it without much frustration from then on with the help of this video that shows the approximate angle. The other side wouldn't budge and I still have to find a solution to how to get it moving without breaking the thing.
The cover of the hi-beam is frozen; I cannot rotate the cover! Plz advise. I did try putting some engine oil on a cue tip and then wiping it around the cover edge but so far it hasn't loosened up the cover.
