bro has a supporting/loving wife and a drift car.
literally every mans dream
That’s the key to happiness right there! 🤙🏼
Easier to drive in real life. Still struggling on sim lmao
I found it hard to get the ffb/wheel settings right on the sim, feels way better once it is dialled 💪🏼
@@bradsilloCan you gibe me good settings for my g29
@@xate6746 ruclips.net/video/bTdhgUe11y4/видео.htmlsi=2oeq4TLD7q-ib59v
I don’t have a G29 but this video looks like a good place to start 🤙🏼
@@bradsillo thank you so much i wanna have a realistix experience
So what do you think about how more realistic AC or BeamNG ? And which one you recommend?
The lack of g-force and throttle feedback on a sim is the major difference, kinda makes drifting irl "easier".
Agreed! 🤙🏼
I learned how to drive manual in assetto corsa with g29 setup and when i drove my first manual car a 93 turbo eg civic hatch ( amazing car ) my friend selling it too me was surprised and i even tried to rev match down shift and did it perfectly, he popped off he was so hyped lol hope i remember that moment forever. I havent done much real rwd drifting but the only thing missing is that feeling in your stomach that sim racing will never give you LOL. despite everything lots of people i know and especially old people scoff at sim racing and that idea as they do with everything.
That is awesome! It would be incredible if the sim gave that same feeling as IRL but it is still super useful. Worked for me with my first time drifting. 🤙🏼
If your budget allows, look up the simxperience gbelt or srs haptic pad, I love them for sim immersion
Fuckyeah bro, this is good content keep at it, AU's are one of those cars that you buy kinda as a meme then you can't help but fall in love with em.
They go surprisingly well
Thanks man! I appreciate it!
Yea that’s it, it was pretty much the only option and when one came up for sale I had to jump on it haha and yea, they actually do a pretty good job at drifting! I’ve got a couple more videos coming from events after this one and it is amazing how well it handles it 🤙🏼
I was like lol wtf is that, until I saw Barra
the same stuff i learn from gran turismo, and later r factor and other early sims, i was able to use when i got my 95 240sx in 2005, i have never drove a 5 speed in real life, and i drove it home no issues, made a couple of mistakes, at first but within a few hours i had it down, then when i started sliding everything i learned worked, even though some of it i didnt even know it had names, like braking drifts, power over, etc. i just knew i found out how to do a lot it threw the games, it honestly kind of crazy when i think about it. with the major thing was getting over the gs and sick stomach feeling, and general fear of crashing. not like i could just reset lol.
That’s cool as!!
Glad your GF supporte you Like this.. how cute was that „it works“🥺
Good job making the jump into IRL drifting!
Thanks man! I appreciate it 🤙🏼
What a vídeo, u are the sickest bro, cant wait to have my driver’s licence
Ur Hella underrated looking forward to ur channel growing!
11:57 Love the way she reacts to the first drift in the car🤩
Wow dude, what a great video! Chill and nice drifts.
🤙
Bought my first siim after wathcing this. Thanks for the inspiration man, looks like its possible for for all of us!!
Yo! That’s cool as!
your a legend for this content
I think it can definitely help, especially if you practice realistic movements of the steering wheel and brakes and throttle etc. It's probably a culture shock for some people that the feel of a real life gearstick is not so easy to move around like the one that comes with your sim setup, unless you like wearing out or breaking your drivetrain really quickly.
Sim definitely helps, was able to link a whole track on my second lap first time drifting
Hell yea
bro's life is literally my summer car "rode for 5 minutes car broke, time to fix"
Real great content man im trying myself to get into drift its great to klnow the sim can help :)
Thanks man! 🤙🏼
I thought you were about to rent a uhal truck and drift that when you showed the terminal lmao
hahaha maybe one day
"For $19.95 you can rent this motherfucker"
hahaha I wish
I can say AC drifting has made my drives in the snow IRL a lot more fun, it might not be 1:1 but it definitely gives you the muscle memory to do the right things when your car IRL decides to be "playful"
Snow drifting! Sick 🤙🏼
Underrated RUclipsr
Some love from Portugal ❤
Yo! Back at you from Aus! 🇦🇺
Awesome content man. keep it up!
Love to see it mate!
0:32 If that’s the Basics in not even started yet 💀😭
Haha I didn’t have any clips from when I started. I spent weeks/months trying to figure out the basics. Don’t give up yet 💪🏼
@B33R4D_ do you max out your fbb setting when drifting on the sim?
@ I usually use 90-100% depending on car
i guess may be better than i think
nice job bro keep it up!
Uppa the AU
joo broo, i like the way you film. the shots are nice and the cuts are good. the video is keeping my interest troughout the video, but if you want to take it to the next level i recommend to you that you either buy yourself a nice camera (since youre filming with a phone, wich is not bad) or get yourself some nd filters and learn a bit on how to adjust you shutter speed, iso, white balance and all that stuff. and i would very much recommend to you to at least do some after effects meaning some color adjustment and nice looking lut fiiting to your style. keep going man i like your content✌
Thanks for the tips!
@@bradsillo No worries❤ take it easy
This guy is currently living in the pinnacle of male dreams
Step 1: be attractive and everything will work out for you
I bought a t300 from thrustmaster and then a year later i bought my mustang. Everything transferred, even manual was a breeze. Only thing i had to learn was how to grow some balls and figure out how to stay put from the g forces.
the steering wheel in the AU is fu king crooked mate 🤣💀
I bent it back but it’s probably worse now 😂
Hell yeah the Barra au 🤘🤘
Subbed. Great vid mate :)
I appreciate that! 🤙🏼
BRO'S COOKING
just the average barra swapped au
That’s awesome
I have about 135 hours in ac and I can drive a real car, but I don't know about drifting , I've been practising since in the beginning of summer but I don't know even If I can drift properly in ac
What cars have you been trying to drift in Assetto Corsa? I started out with the Gravy Garage cars, ADC has a heap of cars that go from low HP/easy to drift to High HP comp cars. I would recommend starting with something like that 🤙🏼
@@bradsillodwg has the most realistic cars
@@christiono4946 I haven’t driven those yet! What car pack are they similar to?
@@bradsillo to be honest I’m not sure but the s13 hatch feels very similar to the one I have in real life the weight transfer is also better than other packs along with the tires also
@@christiono4946 I’ll try em out next time I jump on the sim 🤙🏼
Sick bro 😂
Great video :)
Mines you don’t feel the weight on a sim feels unco as 😂
Sim setup is super crucial. So many variables mate
Tuff vid tuff driving. And yall are so cute
Fantastic video mate. Always saw sim racing as a way for me to possibly ( still very unlikely) have a go at some form of Motorsport in the future.
I now suddenly feel like I need to give drifting a go in the sim. Where do you reckon is best place to start. AC?
Hey mate! Thanks for the follow on insta too!
Can’t go wrong with AC man, hit me up on insta if you need help 🤙🏼
no way hes using the au falcon to drift lol😂❤
Great budget chassis in Aus for drifting 😂
Where are you followers lad top of the line videos !
Thanks man 🤙🏼
Hey man when your editing and your at parts where your having dialogue lower your music to -15 to -18 db. Before your start editing put all your audio to -12db. the music is louder then your voice and cant really hear you
the car looks so bulky for some reason lol
What sim setup did you start with? Looking at doing the same
T300 wheel and pedals. Got it second hand pretty chrap
@B33R4D_ do you remember how long it took to learn on sim?
I was trying to drift the stock assetto cars for a while which slowed my progress, when I downloaded the gravy garage cars was when I started to work things out. So months, but sometimes I worked a lot out over a weekend.
Hey dude im looking at doing the same thing
What is a good starting sim start up ?
I started with and still have a second hand T300 wheel. Check your local marketplace and see what is available, and what suits your budget!
@B33R4D_ thanks ill have a look on marketplace and see what i can find
im drifting on sim drifting good on t300 dream is to drift irl some day👍
Nice! I’ve got a T300 as well 🤙🏼
I tried no hesi and crashed my car

whats the game in the beginning
Assetto Corsa 🤙🏼
So if I can drift perfectly on a wheel in fm8 I can drift in person ???
It certainly helps!
@@bradsillo definitely saving up for a rear wheel car then!! 😁😁
Share code for the drift tune, please? ehek.
I use stock tunes on most Assetto cars, except for VDC
Is this car stock?? Like ik the break and stuff changed but the engine ??
It was a stock Barra in this video
@ it looks really easy to drift the way you do it lol
Do you think being able to drift in gt7 and carx will help later on? Just wondering, because I cant get asseto with mods.
I haven't played either of those so I am not the best to answer, but are you using a wheel and pedals?
@@bradsillo yes I do on carx with no assist and 900 degrees and gt7 has that set as normal. I don't have a shifter tho so I shift with the pedals on the steering wheel and only use clutch in carx.
@@Dutch_wheels4u I'd say you would probably get the idea! There is not a sim that is 100% realistic anyway haha
@@bradsillo I guess I'll have to see when I get my first drift car wich I'm definitely going to have to do at some point, thanks alot for answering! I subscribed aswell❤️
@@Dutch_wheels4u thanks dude! I look forward to hearing about it in the future 🤙🏼
if you want a drift car i'd recommend the 350z
350z are a popular car for drifting, they are also quite expensive and beyond a cheap/fun budget 🤙🏼
what car is it
ford what?
Ford AU Falcon 🤙🏼
1:19 not a barra
Nvm it's a barra 2:25
@@byronatkinson2855at least I know you watched more than a minute of the video 😂
broo that endigen is reare in NA
like 1000
Of course not, how is that even a question. Real life gives you so much more stimulus to learn from, sims are mostly all audio/visual
I just re-read your question, and my thoughts in the video say the same thing, but the sim is a useful tool 🤙🏼
As someone that learned how to drive and drift playing Live for speed the answer is yes, it's not even a question if it does or not, there are plenty of people have done the exact same thing as me playing Assetto Corsa.
YOU CAN'T SPEEL AUSTRALIA WITHOUT AU
The annoying thing about these types of videos is nobody in these are actually a beginner like that definitely was not your first attempt at this. Kinda clickbait
I appreciate the compliment! The sim helped me heaps 🤙🏼
no
Ok
