Maybe that blunder was probably why the Lisa bot got decommissioned. Also 4:19 The Lisa with the flowers in her hair is a reference to the first Non-treehouse of horror Halloween episode.
Well,I think in this future, the rights to Disenchantment-World got bought out by either a different company,or the Westworldian-company owners/robotosist's pastiche had probably had both a Simpsons/Disenchantment/Futurama-world in another country that didn't have (or couldn't have any one of them, due to probably spatial/landowner-y and/or Certain licensing rights, lesiglation and/or laws in their countries, like wherever Simpsons-world is,I'm afraid) that combined the three so they wouldn't be left out of the experience or so.. Also,I think that, with Big mouth-world..I'd think there'd be a LOT of pedofiles/nymphomaninatic people (not to mention,Furry fetishsists..and _not the good kind_..) roaming about there, even though it would be useful for kids trying to learn about puberty and the world during around and so here,honestly-so...apparently.. Also,I think it was also pricey-and MAYBE Nick Kroll (or his family/estate) didn't have any involvement in it in this future here regardless so..Netfilx MIGHT not even had a say in the matter either as well,so...?
Would have missed this one had I not randomly decided to watch all the Treehouse of Horror’s for spooky season! This being literally the last one felt so rewarding!
I know it was the point of the episode . But it is amazing how many references they put into this. I can’t think of any major or memorable character/set piece they missed. Also I love that there is no explanation why the “hiding into the bushes meme” kills people.
The other world he didn’t mention is Big Mouth World and crazy enough, Nick (from Big Mouth) talked about how Bart has been in the same grade for a long time while they’ve moved up.
I thought this segment was gonna be a lawnmower man parody, cause the only trailer I saw for the episode had sideshow Mel on the wheel in the same pose as the guy in lawnmower man
IDk if youve gotten this answer yet, but "VIP Lisa" is from an episode where Lisa becomes a programmer and (accidentally) creates a self aware AI thats supposed to prevent people from making bad posts online. The AI was also voiced by Wheatly from Portal. Somewhat newer i think, definately HD era (god I watch too much simpsons)
Here are a list of movies that Treehouse of horrors should spoof next. The Purge Killer Klowns from outer space Attack of the 50 ft. Woman Unfriended Army of Darkness Let me in And Cabin in the woods ( featuring all the other TOH sketch monsters from all the seasons)
This episode /segment feels like a perfect point to finally end this series. It's like a summary of everything amazing (notice how almost no reference exceeds season 8), so it's like the final clip show or something Since this is not gonna happen, this idea could make a great 2nd Simpsons game. Just cram every single reference into a game, that could be amazing.
The Simpsons has really been improving recently, I think. It's not the same as classic Simpsons, but still pretty decent. The newer ToHs have been so rubbish in my opinion, but I thoroughly enjoyed this one. I hope it'll just continue to improve. Can I just say though, the people having a light skin tone and 5 fingers instead of yellow and 4 fingers was so weird to see 😭
I'm pretty confident I got all of the old-school Simpsons references. Of the post 90's episodes there was 236. Little Big Mom (Stupid sexy Flanders), 240. Alone Again Natura-Diddily (Homer with t-shirt cannon), 249. Treehouse of Horror XI (Willie with dolphin through chest), 282. The Old Man and the Key (Old Man Yells at Cloud), 300. The Strong Arms of the Ma (Body builder Marge), 316. The President Wore Pearls (Lisa in class president outfit), 326. Smart & Smarter (Goth Lisa), 372. Million Dollar Abie (Grampa as matador), 387. Kill Gil (Parts I & II) (The Grumple), 396. The Boys of Bummer (Bart in baseball outfit), 420. All About Lisa (Clown Lisa), 522. Gorgeous Grampa (Wrestler Grampa), 578. Halloween of Horror (Lisa as Frida Kahlo), 646. Werking Mom (Marge in drag queen outfit), and 703. Panic on the Streets of Springfield (Lisa dressed for Quilloughby concert). I initially thought drag Marge was Marge from "Scenes From the Class Struggle in Springfield" but upon closer look it's this later incarnation. I can't figure out where the middle-aged Grampa in black and white is from. It's definitely not from the King Kong segment in THOH 3. Also in Bart's enclosure, along with the baseball Bart, there's a Bart wearing a green hat, it's not his military helmet from "Bart the General" and another Bart in an orange hat with purple brim and chin strap. It doesn't appear to be his jockey helmet from "Saddlesore Galatica". And I don't think the Homer in the turned around baseball cap is from 563. Bart's New Friend, as that Homer also wore an orange un-collared shirt that looked like Bart's. If anyone can identify these please post here. In Lisa's enclosure there's a Lisa in a purple dress with a bow in her hair which I think is just Lisa dressed up, not referring to a specific episode (if anyone know otherwise please say) and next to that Lisa is another Lisa who's mostly obscured but I think it's Lisa in her dance outfit from "Last Tap Dance in Springfield".
3:42 I don't remember exactly which episode it's from, but Lisa with the badge is from a recent-ish episode where she gets obsessed with a british singer named Willoughby. He turns out to be a very bigoted person by the end of the episode, but she ended up stealing money from her parents to attend a concert where he would be playing for the first time in decades The flowers in her hair looks like Frida Kahlo so it was most likely from one of the history retellings episodes (I think it was the one where she has to stay home and assigned a book to read by Marge to calm her down - also a more modern episode)
Because I was curious, here are the Pacific episodes: Badge Lisa: s32:ep19 - "Panic on the streets of Springfield" Frida Lisa: s27:e4 - "Halloween of Horrors. Not the episode I thought, as Kahlo was played by Marge instead (s32:e3 - Now Museum, Now You Don't). This took way more digging that one would think, as I had only a tweet suggesting it being a Halloween costume and a small snippet of dialogue to go off. I then looked at Frida Kahlo on the Simpsons wiki, saw the episode I needed and double checked with the actual episode on Disney+. Now sufficiently tired because this took me over an hour

That is a lot. 👏👏👏
I felt like Captain America watching this segment, understanding every reference
I love that when Homer got the t-shirt cannon, they knew they just had to bring mOd in for no reason she Homer could kill her again.
The "chocolate frosty milkshakes" was something they mentioned all the time in the first two seasons
VIP Lisa = That's Lisa from the episode where her imaginary friend is essentially Smith-era Morrissey. The climax of the episode is when both Lisa and imaginary Morrissey meet current day Morrissey.
The Lisa was flowers was Lisa wearing a Frida Kahlo costume. That was from Season 27, episode 4.
3:58
Actually that was a wrong reference from Lisa's Rival. Lisa's diorama was about the 75 characters from Oliver Twist, while Allison Taylor was making the Tell-Tale Heart diorama.
Still a nice callback like the rest of the episode.
Boy, I sure hope someone was fired for that blunder!
Maybe that blunder was probably why the Lisa bot got decommissioned. Also 4:19 The Lisa with the flowers in her hair is a reference to the first Non-treehouse of horror Halloween episode.
Grampa and jasper don't look high, so it's maybe a reference to when the air raid siren is going of and jasper says "trouble a-brewing"
Thank you for not giving Big Mouth any mind, definately didn't deserve the reference in this episode. Also weird it got picked over Disenchantment?
This treehouse was one of the best of last 15 years
This skit was the best thing ever
I honestly would like to see a continuation of this idea.
This is such a good segment! I would love more like this with some main story parody’s but with jokes that work
"*laughs* I'm a fatality" Ralph Wiggim (RC opening sketch).
the one with lisa with the vip badge is from the episode panic on the streets of springfield
Awesome episode.
I think the backwards hat Homer at 5:46 is the one where he becomes Bart’s friend because he thinks he’s 10
The worlds I would definitely visit (other than Simpsons) would be Bob's Burgers, Rick & Morty, and Futurama
The other world he didn’t mention is Big Mouth World and crazy enough, Nick (from Big Mouth) talked about how Bart has been in the same grade for a long time while they’ve moved up.
Behind Lisa riding her pony, I think that is the old Simpson Farm from Homer’s childhood and the Tomacco episode.
Thus Treehouse of Horror was the best in years. All 3 segments were good.
Lisa with the VIP badge is the episode with the singer voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch. I think his name is Quilouhby.
You forgot about the floral Homer, a parody of the iconic Floral Mickey at Disneyland.
I thought this segment was gonna be a lawnmower man parody, cause the only trailer I saw for the episode had sideshow Mel on the wheel in the same pose as the guy in lawnmower man
Disney needs to make this into a real attraction
Too moments that is easy to miss. When the episode starts, it is the old style of animation from the OG episode. Also the "humans" all have 5 fingers.
Moe with the fan is based on a real person. "Fan man" interrupted an open stadium Holyfield boxing match in the early 90s.
the last bunch of lisas in the bottom left cornerish there is lisa from when she drinks the water at duff gardens(i think).
I don't watch the absurd live but thank you for making this
Thanks for watching!
Don't forget the Tesla Cybertruck being a reference to Season 26's "The Musk Who Fell To Earth".
Here are a list of movies that Treehouse of horrors should spoof next.
The Purge
Killer Klowns from outer space
Attack of the 50 ft. Woman
Unfriended
Army of Darkness
Let me in
And Cabin in the woods ( featuring all the other TOH sketch monsters from all the seasons)
Right after Marge showed up in the Canyonero, I started to sing the theme, and it played just as I did. I lost it.
This episode /segment feels like a perfect point to finally end this series. It's like a summary of everything amazing (notice how almost no reference exceeds season 8), so it's like the final clip show or something
Since this is not gonna happen, this idea could make a great 2nd Simpsons game. Just cram every single reference into a game, that could be amazing.
More like no reference exceeds season 9. I noticed a few from that season.
The Simpsons has really been improving recently, I think. It's not the same as classic Simpsons, but still pretty decent.
The newer ToHs have been so rubbish in my opinion, but I thoroughly enjoyed this one. I hope it'll just continue to improve.
Can I just say though, the people having a light skin tone and 5 fingers instead of yellow and 4 fingers was so weird to see 😭
Ravencrow Neversmiles is the Goth Lisa from S15 and the clown Lisa is from S19s 'All About Lisa'
The VIP badge is from when Homer, Bart, and Lisa went to the video game expo
He turns out to be a very bigoted person by the end of the episode, but she ended up stealing money from her parents to attend a concert where he would be playing for the first time in decades
The flowers in her hair looks like Frida Kahlo so it was most likely from one of the history retellings episodes (I think it was the one where she has to stay home and assigned a book to read by Marge to calm her down - also a more modern episode)
Because I was curious, here are the Pacific episodes:
Badge Lisa: s32:ep19 - "Panic on the streets of Springfield"
Frida Lisa: s27:e4 - "Halloween of Horrors.
Lisa with the VIP badge is from the Season 32 "Quilloughby" episode. Morrisey hates it. Therefore it's amazing.
8:42 this just like the Truman show set dome from the film with led array inside to simulate sky and such
"I AM THE LIZARD QUEEEN" 🦎
You missed Big Mouth World. I would never want to visit that place. Going through puberty once is enough!
This feels like they understood the history they had and wanted to take advantage of it
