- In this video, Chuck demonstrates how to make a gorgeous patent leather clutch. While the design may look complicated, it's really just a main body piece and two gussets. The colorful suede liner gives this bag just the right amount of body, and a simple turn lock adds the perfect finishing touch.

Chuck this project is absolutely gorgeous!! Just when I think you have done it all, you come up with another beautiful project! Best regards, Richard
Chuck thanks for the great video! I learned a few things and I always love that.
Nice little project. 😃
Chuck's studio lighting, explanation(s), skill level, and total honesty (sometimes self-deprecating) are what makes his videos my choice for being the best on RUclips!
Hey Chuck!! Really love the positivity!!! Thanks for all your help when I was first starting and even now still. Appreciate ya!
I have a big piece of black patent. I want to make this. It's very thin though so I hope it'll be allright. Thanks for the tutorial.
I love your energy
Chuck you did a nice job on the Patten Leather purse. I have a mental picture of you in a Black Tuxedo carrying you Patten Leather Purse for your wife. Best regards, Richard
Hi Chuck..love it ...❤❤
Absolutely flawless.
Thx Chuck
Hi Chuck I would like to make a soft leather jacket but font know where to start. Could you do a leather element series on how to tackle such a project, thanks.
Thank you for this video! how did you figure how tall the side panel would be? I get how wide but how tall? TIA
I have a barge question. You can’t really run out of time applying right? Like I don’t have to rush as it needs to dry anyways. Is there a point when it too late?
A great project all the way around, but id use?a 2" foam throw-away brush for all that glue!
I tried a foam brush for contact cement once-it did not go well
Aah G'day, Thanks for the vid. A work around for not being able to see lines in black leather is good quality low tack painter's tape, then you swap a pen or pencil for the scratch awl.
That's what I do too!
What is your view on edge finishing this project?
I’m not clear on how you are doing the stitching.
