Hoenig I am familiar with and went on to make some incredible stuff, but the duo of Gunther and Rausch on bass and drums are incredible here. Very tight and the solid backbone of the enterprise.
like finding a wild berry bush in nature, agitation free is a beautiful find in the diverse selection of the krautrock forest, what a great band. "2nd" is so good, it channels something very sacred within me when i listen to it.

Getting their groove on....I didn't hear about this band I remember I'd listen to a radio show dj Richard synthetic pleasure.. WFMU....that was 82 around that time.....I'm in that time machine......time don't matter...!!!

Il fallait être éclectique et je l'étais mais dans le début des 70's l'Art musical explosait dans toutes les directions et on était forcé de passer à côté de formations "étoiles filantes" telles que celles-ci 🤪🤠😎

This Paris television recording can also be found on the album Last, slightly different in two aspects: The version on the LP Last is a little bit slower. On the other hand, Michael "Fame" Günther's bass can be heard very clearly on the LP, while in the ORTF recording here you can see Fame working very hard, but hardly hear it. And this bass has to be heard, it is played with virtuosity. R.I.P. Fame, R.I.P. Joschi (guitar).

Talent just oozing out of everyone in the studio. Freewheeling percussion. Slick jams. Melty keyboards. Bouncy bass. Terrific stuff.

Certainly one of the best bands from Germany. Brilliant stuff. '2nd' is a classic album.
