I've got a slightly edited version of this DMC mix and edited some extra stuff into it including Rhubarb and Custard, Monkey Magic, Dr Who and Laural and Hardy. I'll have to share it at some point!
hahaha SAME HERE! i been looking for this version for years, didnt know the name so just listened to over a dozen mixed and was so happy when i heard it!
Dakeyne classic.. this was the first mix I heard on gwr radio in Gloucestershire and thought this is amazing skills. nowadays people don't realise how long n difficult this would of been to re mix in 86 . 👌
This mix back in the day rocked the clubs in South Wales.....When I uploaded this it was only the second time my 1210 needle had hit this vinyl....Most my DMC vinyl have been played once or twice as I used to tape them and play tapes and keep the vinyl as best I could.
Hey .. thanks for the share, can I be cheeky and ask for the Heart n Soul mix that is also on this release, my copy had a wicked jump half way through =( when you can CHEERS =)
He also did Sigue Sigue Sputmix which was another one with lots of samples. The DJ played it at Southampton Ice Rink for the speed skating session and also this New Order mix.

mark williams I got this on CD called DMC epic mixes 👌
Yeah I know but it don't compare to vinyl
TBH some of the DMC re-issues sound shite
mark williams yeah I know vinyl sounds better but on CD it's been remastered so it's cleaner but it lacks punch comparing to vinyl like all CDs do.
A megamix the end of the set hot mix with 2 unlimited 1992 some any have ?
Remember hearing this on CFNY Saturday Night Dance Party and the DJ (Chris Sheppard) claiming this to be one of his original mixes LMAO

ruclips.net/video/giV6fAB564U/видео.html There it is
Ps funny track
Paul dakeyne is genius for dmc but you should check out sanny x and mix busters for dmc also
What is the sample starting at 5:38 ? I’ve never been able to work it out.
Good question. I always thought it was Dr Who actor Tom Baker and assumed it was from an episode of the show.
I believe it’s from the movie Legend - Tim Curry is the Lord of Darkness.
I have this on the original vinyl, tho its a little worn out now ;) absolute classic Dakeyne mix. Thanks for the hq upload.
It's crazy that I remember every part of this track beat by beat and song by song as they are mixed in over 30 years later.
The other classic dakeyne did was soft cell tainted love retainted
