I have one question, since they are herding dogs is it safe for them to herd chickens because I have a mix breed cattle dog and she's always trying kinda herd our chicken
And these training videos have helped me a lot keep up the work :)

One of our cattle dogs used to heard the chickens into the coop every night. we have also trained courage to keep them out of the garden she will sit on the porch and watch them and as soon as they get towards the garden she will chase them away. She knows to be gentle and understands that she is not allowed to harm them so it kind of depends on the dog and their personality and if they are being aggressive or just wanting a job.!!

Great question. Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you . we are planning on posting a video next week on leash training. Biting the leash is not a good thing. Does she know what leave it means?

I understand, they are so sweet and adorable when they are small puppies, I see this happen all the time.
I do offer personal training if you are interested. Email me at thebonnelife@gmail.com and we can chat more about the problem.

Raise your knee up when it jumps up and don’t give it attention. When it waits calmly and doesn’t jump up give it a treat.
