Walking path and also for upgrade. If I want to upgrade to level 3, it needs accessible space for builders. If I surround the house completely, I can't upgrade it. (I made the mistake of surrounding it before in another playthrough and made mistake of accidently destroy the middle instead of cancel too and it was problematic).
