- I went to Kita-yatsugatake mountain for snowshoes trekking through a forest of tree ice.
After staying overnight in the car in minus 13 degrees Celsius, I was so moved by the wonderful scenery that I felt as if I had wandered into a different world.
After that, I went to see the icefalls, and the trip became a tour of spectacular scenery that can only be seen in winter.

We are a family of three: husband (Shin), wife (Ayako), and daughter (Yuri), both around 40 years old and our only daughter.

That little girl must be so happy. Her parents are so careful and loving with her. On a side note, they should have just worn crampons instead of those snow shoes. It's packed snow on the trail.

I love that you are acclimating to your new environment and finding new winter activities for the family to do. I think you should try getting Yuri on skis 🎿 again this season, even if it’s the bunny slopes.
Oh the prices on then menu board seem very reasonable, at the ski resort, about 40k up the hill, I pay almost that much for a large coffee and a snack.

私は次男が２歳半の初秋に、ロープウェイから北横岳にハイキングに行きました。
下界は夏、山頂は霧氷の景色のギャップに感動しました。
ちなみに私は今回のエリアからもう少し山梨県寄りに住んでいます😆
ゴンドラで花の百名山で有名な場所もお勧めですよ。

北八ヶ岳🏔行かれたのですね～。😊✨深い青の空と樹氷が美しかったです。私も今週入笠山（富士見パノラマランド）に登りましたが快晴で360度の眺望が見事でした。ゆうりちゃんも登れると思います。八ヶ岳、北アルプス＆諏訪湖、南アルプス、富士山と全て一望です。今回の様に圧雪だとチェーンスパイクという簡単なアイゼンが登り易いですよ。モンベルで3千円ぐらいで売ってるので雪山には常備されるにをお勧めします。😊
