This is one of those performances where you hear the studio version and think “wow, that’s incredible!” and then you hear this live version and wonder how it is possible to transcend something that is already so perfect. But it did. That is the power of Brandi’s voice and artistry! Amazing.
I think this applies to most of Brandi's performances.
In these silent days...
When you meet someone on a dock... calm water, small town. And we end up talking for a couple minutes... seeing a cool wood boat (yacht), and just being two kids who grew up in Washington in the 80s. Some might say it wasn't right, but... it was Right. on. Time. :)

I understand how it is being a caregiver. I lost my mom last year after taking care of her for 20 years. This song hits home so hard. I wish you all the best and cherish those moments you have with her, I miss my mom every day!
