Thank you for your tutorial videos on the installations of the fogs and the lightbars. I should be getting mine in a few days. Looking forward to more upgrade clips from you guys on the 3rd Gen Tundra.
I was happy to see a video where the entire grill assembly does not have to be removed to install these. However, popping out that plastic front bumper cover only is not as easy as this video makes it seem. I have been trying on my 2023 Tundra limited OR using the same trim tool and steps in this video and it is not budging. Very concerned that the tabs will snap if any more more force is applied.
I was able to get the trim off using a beefier trim tool and taking my time. The tabs on mine were very tough to get out initially, but once I got the first two the rest came out pretty easily. Thanks for this video.
Hey have you guys figured out a way to have the fog lights stay on when the high beams are turned on? I just got a 24 Tundra TRD OF 4x4 and when I turn on my highs the fogs cut out. With my last truck I was able to find a small kit that made them stay on. I cant find anything online so far for the new Tundra, only up to 2021. You guys have anything that would work?
I’ll be buying a 1794 Ed. with the factory 3in lift. They say fog lights are removed. Does anyone know if the wiring is already there. I know Toyota did this with other older models to not make a separate wiring harness.
I just got a 2024 Limited TRD OR 4x4, but it didn’t come with these fog lights stock. I want to buy these but will I have to run wires to the dash you think?
I also have a 2024 Tundra Limited OR 4x4. I ordered these lights and they just came today. I read on another forum that the truck comes prewired and it’s plugged in to the back of the plastic inserts. Went out to install them and got called back in to work right as I popped the trim off. I’m planning to try again tomorrow or Wednesday so I’ll come back and let you know what I find.
@@brianstill7898 hey thanks man. Just to be clear, you also purchased a 2024 Limited TRD OR 4x4 and it didn’t come with the OEM grill fog lights either? Im pissed I didn’t check that before purchasing. Just some plastic housing inserts where the fog lights should be. Hopefully 🤞🏼 there is wiring there already otherwise we’ll need wire harnesses to bring it from the grill to the dashboard. Look forward to seeing your reply, hope all goes smoothly.
Yep, exactly. No OEM fog lights on my truck either just the plastic housing. Just finished installing these lights and the truck is definitely pre-wired for fog lights. They were plugged in to the back of that plastic housing. You just take it off, unplug it, and install the lights like in the video. Turned it on next to where you turn your headlights on and off and it worked perfect! Everything you need comes in the kit. Just go slow taking the plastic part off the bumper, it’s harder than they make it look. I went with the amber lights and it looks soooo good.

More to come!
Good video. Just ordered a set. Thanks for the explanation on removing the trim piece. I have a plastic phobia where I break everything I touch lol
Awesome! Just take your time and you'll be fine!

Might be easier to just pull the front bumper off then if you are having trouble with it on.

To my knowledge, the wiring should be there. The factory lift kit comes with block off plates for the fog lights (probably for legal reasons)
Bake Oven Knob Trail Head Parking???
Yupp! lol. Local spot of ours to get a good view.

Most likely. DD should have a wiring kit available with an option to get a toggle that fits directly into the stock location.
Thanks man. I will definitely check that out.
