- Watch this video for instructions on inserting the Guardian Sensor 3 set using the MiniMed 670G system. In this video, you will learn how to remove your transmitter and previous glucose sensor, insert a new sensor, reconnect your transmitter and tape the sensor and transmitter to your body. You will also learn how to perform the button pushing steps to start the new sensor on your MiniMed 670G insulin pump.

Tom Young I have had my 670-G for three years now and yes the alarms, re-calculate over and over, test test test and the God awful alarm can drive a person nuts. Now saying that I finally got off the manual and went to automatic and noticed my morning blood sugars are 90-140 a lot different that using the manual mode. I find the pump on AUTO helps really evens out the high and lows. I have had diabetes 26 years and hate it liker anyone else but try and stick with it because right now think this might be the best on the market in my opinion. I understand the 770 is better yet don't know.

The life of a type one diabetic is definitely complicated... after spending 99% of my life with this disease the technology has come far. Unfortunately, I don’t believe anyone is looking for a cure because it brings in too much money. While pumps and sensors are a big improvement over the antiquated ways I had to live with as a child, they certainly aren’t making life easy.
Anyone out there find an improvement with the new Medtronic 770g?.....

I've been diabetic for 37 years. I've had 4 generations of Minimed pumps before the 670G. Been on the 670G since 2017. It is by far the worst device I have ever used. Constant alerts and beeping, the senors are always off by between 20 and 40 mg/dl. The menu system is the worst I have ever seen. The pump is significantly larger than the outgoing Paradigm model. It has cracked or malfunctioned on several occasions and I am now on my second replacement pump. I have one year left until the warranty is up and my insurance will let me switch to another pump. I'll never buy another Medtronic device again. I curse the thing every day.

I just started with the 670g. This is my 1st pump and not that really impressed. The pump is alway beebing at me. every time I turn around it has loss sensor signal. The pump and the bg meter is alway about 25 to 30 points off. This was spose to make my live easier. Now I feel like a dog on a leash. The pump is alway getting bumped around the hose get caught on everything. I have to buy all these supplys. That cost alot of money. I can afford it, and I have good insursance. I rather be spending my money living my life. Not giving it to Medtronic for supplys.
absolutely right i hate this new pump and sensor they say look at your guide to see how to clean he sensor they didnt send me the guide its back ordered
Do you have any recommendations to a better pump or water resistant pump I'm interested in getting one but they have so many and I can't choose one that fits for me 😕
