I just ordered the 12" for my rubicon 520. I run the Badlands ZXR 3500 winch on 2 bikes with synthetic rope. They are great winches. Very quiet and never had a problem
I mounted Nilight mini bars on my 250cc and it was WAY too bright to ride in the woods. The reflection of the light would blind the hell out of you. But, great lights. Very durable and inexpensive.
The output is from 30v. How have you guys fed them 30v? I know a second battery in series would get 28v, but seems like overkill. 2 capacitors in series would work. What do you recommend?
I just got one.. Great so far but I haven’t had luck with the cheap ones in the past. It is Bright... cant even tell my regular lights are on or off ???... I got the clamps and no problems with shaking
On your radiator cover, if you don't put the o ring back in place every time you remove it, it will fly off while trailering the 4 wheeler down the roadway, I learned the hard way. the o ring comes out of place when you remove the cover.
Thank you, I am considering adding a Nilight to my ride (I have the same as you, Honda Rancher 420) but am considering the 12inch and attaching to my handle bars. I heard you say you had considered or may do it. Thoughts? I am considering the handle bars for turning brightness and keeping the beam where I am steering, seems you have enough side light that turning is not a big deal. Thanks for your post.
I'm still considering the 12 inch but the more I use it the more I appreciate the bigger one but you can't go wrong with either. Just wing it to your preference
I carefully chose a spot on the "tank cover", left side, making sure there wasn't anything directly behind it to interfere when I went to reattach the cover. I was slightly off in my eyeball decision. But the wire connectors in the back of the switch bent enough to facilitate easy install (I wasn't far off, just a hair). Take time, think it all thru "measure twice, cut once" and you will do fine. I was so nervous "what if muck this up and need to replace everything . . ." Laughed afterwards, it's pretty simple and the ole after I finished was big. If I could add photos I would.
2 year review coming ? I order the 4 inches one's and they are absolutely 100% garbage.... Lens and cooling fins are very flimsy.Plastic side covers.very thin wire.Hardware started to rust within a week..
Gonna get this light for my superduty. Thanks for the good review!

Let me know what you went with for a winch. I'm about to buy a base model.

Very bright an still holding strong
Was the music necessary?
Is your comment necessary.
I’m about to buy me some of them, as soon as you turned them on I though it was daytime😂
I got the license plate frame they make to put on vehicles I'm putting this one in my truck an get a smaller one thing is really bright lol
Do you need to buy anything else or just the light?
All the hardware comes.with the light
Which model is this?
How many watts is this?
Thanks a lot for this review.
Thank you for watching
All the extra movement of the camera almost makes me dizzy and very distracting. Music is annoying too. Good info about the light.
Is the light still running?
Yes it's actually off an planning on getting smaller. Gonna put this one in the video on my boat
@@clarkindustryz5409 nice thanks for the reply
