The first OP obviously has OCD issues caused by the abuse she has been subjected to while "in care". She also now has ZERO f#cks left to give, and doesn't care who knows it. Good for her.
I know nothing about cosmetology but I know the colors she wants are incompatible, and if they are lighter than her current hair color, the stylist will have to remove the existing color (bleaching) first. You can't just colour orange over green with crayon and expect it to be fine. That's literally elementary school level understanding of how colours work.
@@HH-ru4bj It may be elementary for you but not for me. Of course, I've never bleached my hair (I let the sun do that) but at this point what hair I have left is mostly gray or white. You do have good points though. I wish I had known this when I took high school chemistry. I'm sure many of my sisters (I have seven) know exactly what you are talking about.
I love using malicious compliance. I know it's not nice, but it's so satisfying. There was one time I was asked to work at a different location for the day. My shift was 05:00 - 15:00. I arrived about 04:30 am in the car park, and was just relaxing before the start of the long day. It should have been a day off, and I really wasn't looking forward to my shift in an unfamiliar location. A member of staff pulled up, approached my car, and (not recognizing me as an employee) said "This is private property. You need to leave now.". So I just replied with "Yes Sir. Sorry for any trouble I've caused." and drove home. The best part was when I got a phone call, and I explained I had been asked to leave by the member of staff X, and that I complied for fear of my safety because they might have called the police. I claimed gas mileage too. Another time is when I filled up my car with petrol, and walked up to the kiosk. The woman must have mistook me for a thief, because she suddenly pointed at me and said something like "Hey, get out. I told you not to come back. I'll call the police!" So I see the advantage to be taken and say "Oh, I'm sorry. I'll leave at once. Sorry, please don't hurt me!" making sure to run to my car, givin the impression I was scared of being attacked. I got in, locked the doors and drove off with a forced worried look on my face. I drove off with over £50 of petrol in my tank. Later that day, I called the petrol station to explain what happened, and they informed me that they had checked the CCTV to see what happened, and the woman made a mistake. He said it was very honest of me to make the effort to call back to try and pay. And he was also very apologetic. I offered to make a payment over the phone if they wanted to come and collect it, as I only had cash on me (well, that's what I said) He said that was very good of me, and he would take me up on my offer. So I gave him my address. Only... I live over 150 miles away. So he declined, and said I could keep it by way of peace offering.
I see you know the law in your country. :) For the USA-ers out there, in much of the UK and also in Australia, if someone declines to accept cash in payment at the time of purchase for either goods or services already received by you, you have the right to decline to make any further effort to pay. The creditor has the right to come to you and demand payment, but you no longer have any obligation to go to them and attempt to pay.
@@Harry-zz2oh There's a lot of detail which I missed out, but it's in the law which deals with currency. The point is to force people to accept legal tender as currency if it's offered in payment rather than the seller insisting on a different form of payment.
1/s I been on both sides of the system and it seems different for each state. We just give the kids an monthly allowance plus the foster parents buy toiletries for the kids weekly. Taking inventory of their personal items is a bit invasive.
Why do so many clients not understand that in order for your hair to be the color you want, you have to remove color with bleach/lightener before you can add color?
Ah so now we know one of the places where Karen's come from , that breeding ground in the last story Can they be trapped and move to a Wild Karen preserve to save the rest of the world from them ?
If the person in the first story reads this, just the fact that you acknowledge you have a problem is a big step. The fact you forced yourself to get rid of some stuff is amazing! I'm not a hoarder but my family thinks I am because I don't throw everything out but I have gone through my things for them several times and thinned it out. But still I can't make them happy, I only have enough stuff to be in a single bedroom apartment. I mean, I couldn't fill a double wide trailer, so I don't try to please them anymore. My point is just don't let anyone change who you are and make you throw out something you really want to hold on to. Good luck.
That first story… that’s a lot of arrogance especially directed towards people trying to help foster kids. I get fostering is pretty bad, but this kid is kinda bratty. Sad to think of what she’s been through, but yeesh.
i can understand that she needs to switch to a new shampoo when her old one "stops working" ... but she doesn't need to keep the old ones, or waste them. just donate them to the house
I think she understands this, she mentions she needs help multiple times (including a therapy animal). I'm guessing as well as the germaphobia she has some obsessive compulsive or Hoarding tendencies that she is aware of but struggles to manage in her current environment/situation
Actually they can't donate those things to the house. They're bought with the "clients" allocation of funds. The "clients" are able to donate it to others themselves, however the person mentioned that they had a problem. By clients, I'm talking about the person who is whatever form of care. It's a term used because of HIPPA so you're not releasing any information including the"sex" of a person. You wouldn't believe the shit storm of dealing with HIPPA violation. I saw several good people get fired over using he/she when talking about their client to others.
it is possible for a phone to stopp working because of age even if not having any damage on it. had that happend once with a nokia that was maybe 6-8 years at the time (one of the models thats quite sturdy, not the grey one that could probably survive beeing droped in a volcano but one of the models afther. still realy sturdy phones, acctualy only time i replaced a phone because it died on me. replaced a couple of phones because they started having problems or was just getting realy old, oh and i did have one of those grey nokias. damn that was a sturdy phone, if charged it would most likely still work no problem to) never needed to replace a screen on a phone either, but only had toutch phones for 5 years because of the job i had before. (non toutch phone would be able to handle my work envirement more than a toutch phone. was working with horses and a non toutch phone would survive a kick if a horse happend to kick me where it was. toutch phone would probably not atleast not the screen)
Geez, this first one should be told from the perspective of the team lead, this person sounds like an absolute nightmare to deal with. They should have booted you out.
I can not believe she said "Maybe Some one that speaks... ENGRISH !!" That is just so incredibly Rude and Condescending and of course Racist Arghh But The Owner replied perfectly

It's a good thing Karen knows the owner and knows how to color her hair!

I kinda wanna adopt op of the first story. It’d be worth the therapy costs, just to unleash her on the world and be like, “yep, that’s my girl!” Lol.

Last one should have ended it with a loud slurp of coffee followed by a satisfied, "Ahhhhhhhhh... That's good bean juice."
Employee: *absolutely nothing*
Karen: "I DEMAND TO TALK TO YOUR MANAGER! YOU ARE GOING TO BE FIRED!!"
Employee: "I am the manager."
Some of theses people sound like young Karen’s . You mean you actually have to follow rules , like everyone else ??? Yes you do .

Clocking out was unnecessary, id refer her to your boss.

I think those are called wilderness retreats/communes.

Therapy animal/anxiety/Asperger's/allergies/panic attacks/germphobia?
Is there not one person in these stories that is normal?
If they were all ‘normal’ as you put it, these channels would not exist.

How is "young lady" talking down to a young lady? How do address a 16 year old female, girl, properly?
You just don’t it’s not worth the effort. I’ve managed plenty of 16 y/o and you stay flat neutral at all times and deal with the undue entitlement
It's all dependent in the tone. I've been spoken to with "young lady" rather condescendingly, and it's a common occurrence when using that phrase.
HorseLuver4Ever to be clear I don’t address anyone with gendered statements as it’s to toxic a topic but tone is always important
@dot suk Please never go around people.
@dot suk I hope you realise you wouldn't even exist without women and frankly any female family members you have should disown any relation to you.
