This is awesome love it
I just discovered you guys. Your great musicians.
Takes balls to even try this.
What makes the original is Hayward's singing of "Oh how I live you." He's not singing a melody with a bit of emotion. He's displaying his pain and passion without embarrassment. Which is probably why this song is ridiculed. It's sincere and unabashed passion. If not sung that way, it's just some words that fit a tune.
If one cares to sing it, one must be sincere and unafraid -- not hamming it up, just singing as if one is gloriously lost in love.
MAGNIFICENT PERFORMANCE. THANK-YOU
Great job folks 🎉
Pretty decent job on this great classic song everybody.
Well played,,,,my eyes are welling with love this
Full on emotion and love
A classic, well played!!
3:25 -- Edgar Winter was the originator of the keyboards on strap ... glad to see it here as he plays it well ...thanks ..
WOW!
I'm a big fan of this song, you guys did a great interpretation of this great classic. I haven't seen any Kansas covers yet.
Looks like the drummer is a constant throughout
James Storm on lead vocals...
Great cover! Props to all.
However...
Where's the Graeme Edge's poetry at the end?!
"Breath deep, the gathering gloom.
Spotlights fade from every room."
Bedsitter people look back in lament
Another day's useless energy' spent.
"Impassioned lovers wrestle as one,
Lonely man cries for love and has none.
New mother picks up and suckles her son.
Senior citizens wish they were young."
"Cold hearted orb that rules the night,
Removes the colours from our sight.
Red is grey and yellow white,
But we decide which it right,
And which is an illusion...."
(This is all from memory. I didn't look it up.)
I knew it back in the day. Maybe I'll play my VINYL ALBUM on my TURNTABLE to get the right words...
TIll then, "I'm NOT a singer in a Rock & Roll band!!!!"
Turn on Saturday Tanya has bowling in Springfield bowling alley the garage and going to eat out there
Show de bola!
