Great truck, seen some owners and miles. I remember Owen Leech at Castlemaine VIC had an R200 International with a Scania in it and pusher axle, it looked nice and sounded great back then.
Stirling Butchard as a young man knew my father and grandfather. If the same he lived in fairfield then smithfield. The last l heard he was at Cumnock nsw. My father had a transport business based in tareeand his parents were in fairfield. As a lad he couldn't wait to be climbing all over and inspecting those trucks when they turned up. He was a great mate to my grandfather who was paralysed by a stroke. Small world and many thanks for posting.regards . Stirling Whaley Taree
Beautiful truck halak the cover the mirrors years talk about ain't never heard with a frame part being made out of copper and then the brass connected to the door on the truck that's awesome have a good day
Great truck. My dad had a green R200 petrol 5 speed with a 2 speed diff. I didn't know there was an R 210? My dad had a R 190 before the R200 Carried Silica from Lake Conjola ( quarry there and loaded from a hopper.) To new bolds refractory port kembla.
Thanks for the comment Rex. Do you have any images of your Dads's old truck? Our Editor would love to chat more about this. Please message us. Cheers Truckstop TV Team
@@TruckStopTV sorry not that I can find. Have found a not very good one of the R190 , but more of the trailer. The front wheels were further in the body on the R 190, then the R200 . If I do find one will let you know.
Hi Pat, if you do find the photos, let us know, we will be able to put them into our magazine - Vintage Trucks and Commercials Magazine. Readers and viewers would love to see them. Cheers TS
Absolutely beautiful.

That is one sharp old IH. Sounds like you appreciate old rigs like that.🥰

Thanks for letting us know about your family connection to the International Truck. It sure is a small world! Cheers TS
Beautiful rig, good motor choice too. I like L10s, good motor, we used them in cement mixers and conventional we had.
Yes a different choice of engine. Hard to fit a 14 litre job in those. But this is a classic great looking old Inter.
Thanks for sharing
Very nice video and Merry Christmas. Thumbs up liked.

Beautiful truck bro!
Think I took some photos of it out the front of the old Bridge Garage in the late 80's or early 90's parked beside a Peterbuilt.

I seem to remember Turners having an R190 with a Heinkel V8 in Fairfield many years ago.
Is that a duetz motor
Whats the advantage of having copper mirror structures over steel or aluminum
No reason just pretty when polished up.
Love it.
