Oh wow! You didn't go into the pottery. Sometimes you can watch the artist working on the potter's wheel. Be sure to cover it and the Creamery, Candy Kitchen, and the Kitchen shop next time.

I was at the Old Mill restaurant back in the spring we was going to have lunch but unfortunately the line was so long and the wait time was 2 hours we had to move on to something else we'll be back in the spring hopefully we'll give it another shot appreciate what y'all do keep up the good work God bless

Love the old mill area. Usually eat at the pottery house cafe because the wait is less. It's usually with the owners of the Smoky Mountain Cat House. The store is down the street across from Randall ogle gallery. You should check it out. Pet lovers would love it. She has cat and dog products for pets and owners.

Between the two, I've eaten at these two places dozens of times. Go once to the actual Old Mill... It's neat. But don't go back. Not sure why, but their resturant across the street is so much better. It's really-really good. The other... not so much. The only time I'll go to the Old Mill is if someone new is in town, and that they "JUST HAVE" to go.

It's always beautiful.
When does it usually snow in the area? My husband and I will be in Gatlinburg staying at the buckhorn inn for the first time February 5th to 7th to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and we would love to see it snow.

I love that area, I always visit the Smoky Mountain Cat house there which is one of my favourite. I also enjoy the river walk trail from the Old Mill to The Island. Its such a great place. I enjoyed the man singing. Cheers
