Sometimes dramatic events leave a "stamp mark" in time. And once in a while if you pay attention of if you're lucky you can witness these events being played again like a movie. Tiny bits at a time. Soldiers on a battlefield for example.

Phenomenon called 'Stone Tapes'. Energy released of long ago events, captured in structures. Not hauntings.
Agreed and to fully "appreciate" that experience to encounter such events it's best to go on the day and time the battle or event took place, example Gettysburg PA if you go July 1-3 you get a vibe

Well we spoke to 2 separate people and they both claimed that there are voices from the area sometimes at night ad nobody is there. dont know what to make out of that but interesting it is. Thanks for watching my friend.

@@cincoy3679 Well i didnt want to say it but yes i hope Germany finish the job this time, people say that they were evil but the real truth is that they wanted to save themselves from the Russian evil , and ''other'' types of evil. Germany only lost due to some tactical errors in Russia, If those commanders had stayed loyal, timed it better and made some tactical changes then they would have had the '' Sieg'' , and i cannot be too wrong in saying this as Churchill had planned to make an attack with the inclusion of German soldiers after the war , so to me that says that the Allies would rather trust Germans over Russians! Personally i love Germans, their precision, perfection, they have always been a nation full of genius minds, stylish too!

Nice video you put together. In the control room. The small holes in the wall. Was mostly to shoot from top level to lower or outside. Incase they was breached they could control to fight. They even used to communicate from room to room.

Like I remember watching you from like years ago even have my own relics like small ww2 german 15 round ammunition box the date on the box says 1939 and the shells says 1940
I always found these places interesting but, I'd be concerned about stumbling across a landmine active depending on the area. Great video.
Well they are every now and then out there but very rarely does that occur. Thanks for watching.
I visited a few abandoned WW2 airfields in my area, one with an intact but weathered control tower had a vibe to it.
I took quite a few photos and one area of the control tower the photos on my phone blurred, same spot each time.
Made the hairs on my arms stand up.
Some of the other airfields felt peaceful, you must find yourself that some sites just have that vibe.
Yet another great video, your research & perseverance in finding us these sites, is second to none.

So awesome to see EE recovering well from his broken arm so quickly. Great stuff! Love this location. It is still quite amazing to realise how extensive the Atlantic Wall fortifications were. With every bay and inlet needing bunkers and gun emplacements, and firing bunkers, and so on. The time needed, to build and equip all these different sites alone, is mind boggling. Love that Firing Control Bunker with its weird angled ladder. Most unusual. Yes, all that wooden cladding lying around is probably original as you can see some is still in place behind the bottom part of the angled ladder. That angled hole between the floors is for passing commands and reports, back and forth, from the observers up top, to the guys plotting ship and gun movements down below. It's little details like that, that make these out of the way places so interesting. Just love seeing these "forgotten" peices of WW2 history. Thank you for bringing this to us. Cheers to you both! In 1966, when I was 11 years old, my friend and I found a refuse dump from an 1880's Army Fort near the Custer Battlefield. The property was owned by a family friend so we were given free reign. We spent many days digging and found numerous artifacts. Uniform pieces, boot pieces, uniform buttons, many bottles, broken plates, spoons, knives, forks...and the most sought after "US" Belt Buckles. Sadly a new road alignment in the 70's obliterated the dump site.
Must have been interesting indeed. Thanks for sharing and for being here :)
Those artifacts belong the people of the United States and should have been archived or placed on display in museums.

When I see these old gun placements I always wonder whether those particular guns ever fired in anger. I'd imagine if an allied ship was fired upon there there would be records of it? Great video as always HH, and good to see EE's arm recovering well
Some were never fired in agner and some were. This place was strafed by allies aircraft twice as far as we have got to know. Thanks Tim.

The fire control bunker was in amazing condition, all things considered, and it is obvious it is not visited as all the materials would have likely been pilfered. This one time I was in Normandy and found 20 mg42 shell casings next to a bunker and before I left I swear to God I heard a German ghost soldier say "hello" and I was alone and no one was around so it has to be one!

I have heard that military barbed wire in WW1 was more deadly than agricultural barbed wire, because it had more barbs. This is the first example of military barbed wire I have seen and it looks very deadly. No wonder soldiers used to get caught up on it! Thank you for showing me this example.
This is a silent weapon that there are still hundreds of miles of out there. Thanks for watching.
Farm barbied wire is ment to just anoy and prick animal to keep them away from areas. Military barbed wire is meant to mame and kill. Plus its razored like straight razor and ill ensare if you panic. Awful but effective way to kill

It’s wonderful to see these locations. I love seeing how they are the same but also different. The way they are built and the location they are at. Some are hugely fortified while others not so much. This location took advantage of the rocks in the terrain to build these locations while other locations used concrete, bricks and steel. I really enjoyed seeing the fire and control bunker. The slanted ladder going to the second floor was unusual. The rooms were very large. I wonder if this was some of the first bunkers the Germans built?

Another very special location that you have found to share with us. The fire control bunker is like nothing I have seen anywhere else. As you say, some very expensive and special assets they were protecting from here.
Another barbed wire valley, and amazingly not all rusted through. I am so pleased that EE's arm is getting better, and a message for him. EE, a few years ago, I had an accident, lost 2 fingers, the surgeons saved them and sowed them back, after lots of physiotherapy, my have is as good as new, so never stop the exercises to make your arm like new, your a very brave young man, and thank you and your dad for sharing these adventures with us.

So very, very gorgeous there. Perfect position for the Kreigsmarine defensive set-up. The cows looked pretty saucy grazing on top of the ammo bunker. The brown one was closing watching you. It would have been interesting to see the Schneider anti-aircraft gun . Was there ever alot of German barbed wire. You wouldn't want to fall on any of that HH 🥺 The fire & control bunker was quite large. Also, wonder where all the wood came from. That structure also placed in ab ideal position. I hope your arm continues to heal quickly EE. You are a tough little soldier. Interesting site. Thanks EE & HH.

The variations in some of these defences constructed along the ’Atlantic Wall’ are fascinating, particularly when only a very small percentage of them saw any action. Great location my friend. The fact it is not a typical Todt construction is even better, the stonework is just beautiful. The FCB is a mastery of mason work. It is amazing what is just sitting there all these years later. That little mount pedestal in the lower deck of the FCB appeared to line-up with a window, could it have been a mount for a set of naval binoculars? I think you hit it that the upper pedestal was for the range finder, one of those 2-3m units.
EE it is nice to see the mobility coming back to the arm. It takes time to get it to return, so be patience and just keep working it. I have been there and done the same.

EE says hello here my friend. Farmers often collect the wire and just either bury it or re-use it actually. Thanks for being here my friend.
@@WW2HistoryHunter Interesting. American farmers, unfortunately, are way too lazy to reuse something like that. Plus our recycle programs are so few that I doubt the farmers here would bother. Looks like "burying" is the common denominator between the old country and the new.
Reason I asked the question is that grew up on a dairy farm. 'Junk piles' that were there in my youth are still there.

That gun emplacement, if you re-work it with flagstone or patio blocks would make a nice picnic/ barbecue area. The area looks like a pretty quiet place almost like a park

Very Interesting Video Sir , Dont know about German Soldiers voices been heard in the winds , Judging by the Cattle damage , the Cows would have not gone near those Bunkers . My Cousin served on the Lancasters , I cant feel sorry for the Germans ,after the horror they bought in the Holocaust . We had to use the Lancaster s to fight that Horror that was looming . But very Good Video -Thank you

That is a ultra rare FLAK gun , in field , auxiliary aiming device. We have found 4 of them so far. Thanks for being here.
I believe the slope part near the observation and probably machine gun post of this bunker was used to check who was coming into the bunker without the need to to go down and get shot.
