I think that 16mm rings will be the sweet spot for many people. The paper "friction" is a very good point.

I like the fact that it is free of all that branding and sloganeering (fake positive messaging) of the Plotter. I hate it when corporate text colonizes my notebook--I want it for MY writing, not theirs! But--I do like Plotter paper. Will it not fit in the MeePlus? (I'm interested in mini and A5 sizes). The rings are not the same size? Finally, it seems that MeePlus smoothes down the sharp edges of the brass spine, whereas many complain that Plotter spines catch on their clothes.

@@arcajour-i2r The size of Plotter Mini5 inserts is 62mm x 105mm, while the default insert size for Meeplus Mini is 67mm x 105mm (the same as Filofax Mini). This means Plotter inserts are slightly narrower but can still fit into the Meeplus Mini. Additionally, you can request a customized size for the Meeplus Slimpad. Common widths include 62mm, 67mm, or 74mm. Since the rings are standardized, they are compatible across brands. However, Meeplus offers more options for ring diameters, such as 13mm and 16mm, while Plotter’s default is 11mm.
