- Lyrics to the song Breathe No More by the american rock band, Evanescence.
From the Pre-Fallen era demos.
Lyrics:
I've been looking in the mirror for so long
That I've come to believe my soul's on the other side
All the little pieces falling, shatter
Shards of me too sharp to put back together
Too small to matter
But big enough to cut me into so many little pieces
If I try to touch her
And I bleed
I bleed
And I breathe
I breathe no more
Take a breath and I try to draw from my spirit's well
Yet again you refuse to drink like a stubborn child
Oh! lie to me, convince me that I've been sick forever
And all of this will make sense when I get better
But I know the difference
Between myself and my reflection
I just can't help but to wonder
Which of us do you love?
So I bleed
I bleed
And I breathe
I breathe no-
Bleed
I bleed
And I breathe
I breathe
I breathe
I breathe no more

Love this more than the final version. ❤️
This is my favorite version
MetalFan 666 me too!
I love every version of this song
This should've been the final version as it sounded more 'evanescent'
J0-,'
J0-,'*
,:, :_
it sounded like linkinpark
Agreed; I've always believed that!
I just made the realization that the end of this song is the end of the band version of My Immortal 😅😅😍😍
2022 and this is STILL the best version!
best version fr. wish they’d upload in the streaming services
love the 'acoustic' version, but this is the recording I grew up on. really brilliant songwriting from such a young prodigy. love you, amy.
I love all of evanescence's songs
best version
Love this version 💗
This is my favorite version of Breathe no more, but either way it's a fucking beautiful song.
I've been looking in the mirror for so long...
That I've come to believe that my soul is on the other side
@"evanescent 12"
This song predates that movie by at least 6 years.
I know everyone on every single of the demos are like "omg so much better than the final version" while I disagree on many of them, this one is definitely the superior version IMO.
Tempo is wayyy better
LIE TO ME, CONVINCE ME THAT I'VE BEEN SICK FOREVER.
So deep
I love this version ❤
deep so deep meaning. No words to describe that
Amazing heart-touching
I would love for them to experiment like this again, synthesis was a nice shot at it but needs to be taken further.
There's nothing "experiment" here, this is just a MIDI sample repeated on Amy's song
Questo è un bellissimo sound
i love this version than final version, omg. this is the first version ive been downloaded in 2004. 😢❤
Escuto a 10 anos essa música😮❤️
The piano version of this is beautiful, no doubt, but THIS is what this song should’ve sounded like.
that is the best version of this song
A best version❤
Demo is muchos better.
triple muchos mejor
2025 and I still loving it
damn, this version is so much better that the only piano final version. ✨
This version is better than the original.. one of my best songs
actually I think this ver better than the acoustic one or the new one dunno what it called
OUVINDO EM 06/06/2020
Originals are always better. Wanna know why? Because life is simpler than what we make it to be.
indeed
Best version ✌️
This song would eventually be released as part of 2016's Lost Whispers album... with only piano and vocals.
Eu gosto mais dessa versão
love u amy

what do you mean, @DracarysEV?
This track was not on Fallen
thats B-side of Fallen
@@vorong2ru B-side of a CD?
@@alvaros. Yes
@@vorong2ru I apologize if I'm telling you something you already know... way before CD's, there were the Cassettes (tape cassettes, compact cassettes, etc). Way before cassettes, there were Vinyl discs. Both cassettes and vinyls were "flippable", had two sides, A and B, and both sides were recorded. Thus, a song could be recorded on Side A, or on Side B. After listening to one side, you could turn (flip) the disc/cassette and listen to the other side. CDs are not "flippable", they are recorded only on one side, so they don't have Side A and Side B.
Damm. Its way much better than the original ones. Thanks for creating such art of music !! Are these on iTunes? 😎😍😄
Unpopular opinion, I thought the traditional version (I guess it's a "Fallen Outtake"?) was better. The drums and sound effects take away from the beautiful song.
n3verflix99 I like both, but to me this one has more Evanescence "feel" to it... its more darker somehow.
I used to like it better but now I'm torn. The Fallen Outtake feels more haunting, dark, and hopeless like I'm in a black lake or a cold room with the lights turned off. Her voice is more delicate, clearly emotive of sadness in some parts like when she says "Will make sense when I get better". This one feels rougher around the edges which I like, and the sound of her voice is younger and louder.
Yeah this is a poor copy-paste MIDI sample repeated over Amy's song.
What CD/demo had this version on it?
Valek Irwin the cd was called not for your ears. Not sure if you can even still get it. I got my copy(before it broke from overplaying it) on eBay
Yeah actually I found a copy on Discogs. Thank you. =)
@@BubblyBrunette84 Not For Your Ears wasn't an official album, it was a fan made compilation cd. This version of the song was never released on an album, but a later version of it is included in the "Lost Whispers" album.
They actually just website release this stuff.
To set the record straight, this demo and all of the other available Fallen-era demos were actually leaked around the time of the album's release from a CD-R promo meant for internal use within Wind-Up.
do you can add the new disc ?
Evanescence just released the bitter truth and I find myself completely uninterested in it, seems to generic and not what drew me to the band so many years ago. I've found myself going back to all of their old music as opposed to the new stuff :(
The Bitter Truth is a great album that captures Evanescence in the present, and includes a few vibes from The Open Door too. The generic thing is much of Fallen and a lot of pre-Fallen which was often copy-pasted samples and one guitar strum over Amy's songs. The guitar and samples from those old records aged badly
Linkin Park with a girl.
it not mixed right... you need to blend it more and tone it down. And in the beginning i dont like spit type sound...lwhen you got ride of that it was bit bitter....
My dude it's not my music. It's a 20+ year old demo, not even the finished product from the band.
@@ThatVideoMakingKid the band did this ? wow. thanks for putting it out there .
@@redrum3075 No, there wasn't a band back then. This is a demo where Ben repeated a MIDI sample over Amy's composition
