Same guns/equipment locked to hero style characters with no customization. Maybe this game would be worth it if they dropped the moba/hero style characters and made us completely create our loadouts and characters.

How did we go from “story based game that focuses on socio-political influences on a domestic American based terrorist group, which in order to defeat: we must question our morales and actions through the story” to “fighting alien zombies in HAZMAT yoga pants”?
Careful now, thinking and logic do not apply to mass consumers, they want easy fun and quantity, not a quality story which can inspire critical thinking. Such things make them defensive of their easy entertainment.

A year late but react was formed after the outbreak event in 2018, in case they had to deal with it again (which they are) so it's not like it was created in the middle of this outbreak
Tom Clancy would have never approved this this is like Aliens in The Bourne Identity franchise. Or the Splinter Cell franchise, which shares the Rainbow 6 universe. Does not belong.

And this game is even more dependent on the team, so i doubt that playing it without a 3-stack will be any fun. I really hope it will be good, but i honestly don't think it will.

As much fun as weird scifi shooters are, one of these days we need a real Rainbow Six game again. The franchise really does not resemble its roots in anything but the most superficial elements anymore, and nothing new seems to have really come out to replace it as a true counter-terrorism tactical shooter .
If you really pay attention at the end of the trailer, a strong spinning sound can be heard, it actually is the corpse of Tom Clancy rapidly rotating on his grave over this uninspired knockoff of better games. This is actually impressive, as the man himself was a hack.
It looks alright. You got your run of the mill "zombies" such as the regular walkers, boomers, big tank guy you need to kill from his back, etc... I think this will get old after the 2nd run.

I'd honestly pay for a Rainbow Six singleplayer for this price instead of whatever Extraction is going to be. In the game play the monster count looks way less, I would prefer weaker monsters but like loads of them. Imagine just seeing lots of them charging at you and breaking through walls. Also I don’t like the name as Much as quarantine

im 27 years old and i love the rainbow six franchise. started to play with Rogue Spear and played almost all of them since then. i loved the cinematic and im super excited about a new R6 game is coming out but im a bit concerned about where this franchise is going. i also have to say, i wonder how will i feel about going tactical against some weird mutated zombies..
This is just sad, Ubisoft needs to get it together before there company dies out, I’ve grew up with rainbow six siege I’ve seen the ups and downs and it’s never been this bad I’m sorry but I think I’m quitting the game it’s no longer fun and it seems that Ubisoft isn’t gonna make us happy anytime soon.

I love Siege for what it is, but R6 died after Vegas 2. This mess here is just pathetic.
"Rainbow" is the organisation. "Six" is supposed to be the leader. Then again, it was never supposed to be an alien horde shooter either.

Rainbow Six Siege Outbreak is a prologue and now Rainbow Six Extraction is just a new beginning because It's evolve.
As much fun as weird scifi shooters are, one of these days we need a real Rainbow Six game again. The franchise really does not resemble its roots in anything but the most superficial elements anymore, and nothing new seems to have really come out to replace it as a true counter-terrorism tactical shooter .

If you really pay attention at the end of the trailer, a strong spinning sound can be heard, it actually is the corpse of Tom Clancy rapidly rotating on his grave over this uninspired knockoff of better games. This is actually impressive, as the man himself was a hack.

It looks alright. You got your run of the mill "zombies" such as the regular walkers, boomers, big tank guy you need to kill from his back, etc... I think this will get old after the 2nd run.

I'd honestly pay for a Rainbow Six singleplayer for this price instead of whatever Extraction is going to be. This video and other Siege animations (Tournament of Champions) just shows me how interesting our operators can be; I wanna know more about them and I don't think a multiplayer game can focus on that too much.

In the game play the monster count looks way less, I would prefer weaker monsters but like loads of them. Imagine just seeing lots of them charging at you and breaking through walls. Also I don’t like the name as Much as quarantine

im 27 years old and i love the rainbow six franchise. started to play with Rogue Spear and played almost all of them since then. i loved the cinematic and im super excited about a new R6 game is coming out but im a bit concerned about where this franchise is going. i also have to say, i wonder how will i feel about going tactical against some weird mutated zombies..

This is just sad, Ubisoft needs to get it together before there company dies out, I’ve grew up with rainbow six siege I’ve seen the ups and downs and it’s never been this bad I’m sorry but I think I’m quitting the game it’s no longer fun and it seems that Ubisoft isn’t gonna make us happy anytime soon.

I love that this entire DLC is because the Rainbow Six was isekaid into Arknights.
How sad to see R6 move so far from its roots, i would hope that some day, there would be a game like the first 3 R6 titles, but with modern graphics and interface.
