i hope this thing has microfiber instead of that synthetic leather that will gradually disintegrate after 2 years (which i think is intentional on the part of the manufacturers).
Yesss, I had a pair of Sony MDR950BTs and the earmuffs did the exact same thing after exactly 2 years. They gotta keep you coming back to buy their next product.
Hey, why not take these headphones and add a condenser microphone to it? You know, Audio Technica ATH-M50x-STS? But no high-pass filter around 150Hz. XLR and quarter-inch connectors. And no, stationary microphones don't do it for me. I tend to move my head around when looking at the screen at close distance due to my visual impairment.
@@ChristopherSibert They're both open-backed. They've done a terrible job distinguishing these from each other. Specs are the same. The only difference I see is physical (headband, etc.).
What’s the price point of both of these headphones? There’s quality audio headphones and there’s quality audio headphones? I have shed loads of Behringer rack mount studio gear and pretty much every guitar effects pedal they have ever made. But audio headphones are a different ball game imo. My main home audio system is a Naim active system with Naim SL2 speakers with a full spec Linn Sondek LP2 turntable . I can’t see these headphones being something I would use but if Mr Behringer wants to send me both to try ? I’ll give em a go.
BANG FOR YOUR BUCK. While audio snobs laugh and cut down Behringer, Try before knocking. Audio gear is marked way the hell up Headphones are a sure bet.
Thanks for not telling us at all what the difference is between an ALPHA and an OMEGA. Seems like both use the pesky dual-cable design, so one thin cable going to the left headset, and another cable going to the right headset. Not really a good design in my opinion.
Linn Drum please 🙏🏾

and i hope the cable is detachable... ever wondered why electric guitars don't have a built-in cable?
Non car je fais seulement du clavier 😂😅

@@qcgarcia yes, the cable is indeed detachable
Ça ça m'intéresse. Je me réjouis de les tester en magasin. Merci beaucoup !
open back, going to try that one
They look amazing! 🎉
planar-magnetic headphones would be interesting

Is this good for mixing?
And the DIFFERENCE between them IS...
Size, mostly.
@@unduloid That's what SHE said!
Sounds like the OMEGA is open-backed, so I assume the ALPHA is not.
@@ChristopherSibert Ok thanks!

Behringer doesn't know.... nor care about that.
Wish I could buy an edge. Sweetwater says not til October or November at soonest if you preorder now.😢
Amazing!!!
What impedance are they?
Good question. Behringer makes no mention of their impedance figures. But I would be rather surprised if they were much above 32 Ohms.
omega is around 32 ohms and alpha is slightly less
Explain the differences
No, we will not (Behringer).
Ragazzi siete i numeri uno ☝️
just ordered alpha broke philips fidelio and dont liked them dark fat boomy lets see

💯👍
Do I buy them both and wear them at the same time? Does one come with a few different Pokemon than the other?
