- I was honored and excited to finally get Dalton Gebhardt and his Peterbilt 359 on the channel and tour the machine he & his dad built together! He works this truck every day and is constantly improving & changing it more and more into a physical representation of his personality.
The truck belonged to Dalton’s dad for years, and with the help of friends and family members, they stretched the frame with a cut-off low air leaf suspension, and did the big-hole conversion to the sleeper. Dad happens to own an upholstery business, so Dalton gets a custom-stitched interior when he later buys the rig from his father.
The entire truck; inside, outside, and underneath, have gotten the Gebhardt treatment with the motto “Built not bought”. You see, in the soul of a true hot rodder lies the mentality that something is cool if it’s not available to the public in a catalog or website. If something is repurposed, fabricated, customized, or altered, then it’s a one-off piece of functional art. (The best kind of art.)
The world needs more young men like Dalton that carry on a family legacy behind the wheel. They preserve the traditions that a trucker & hot rodder lifestyle carry with them, and calling these guys my friends is a massive honor.

I’ve probably said this before but man your video editing and taste for catching some of the coolest rides are by far the best that I’ve ever seen. This should be your full time job! Seriously nice work dude! Thanks for sharing!!!
Awesome video. I listened to him talking about his daddy and how he had it going on and just knew he was an old timer. Then I hear he was born in 78. He’s 13 years younger than me!! Sounds like a great hard working family living the American dream. Beautiful story. I hope they are doing and continue to do well
Definitely a classic 359 XH ( long hood) with a 3406 Kitty Kitty sitting on a 270" wb ( wheel base)
Now.that is a beautiful truck he did an amazing job looks straight out the 80s beautiful
I hope he keeps the truck as is.. it's like a time capsule
Awesome rig and awesome guy!!! True trucker!

I wish he would of sounded off the RailRoad crossing bell and horn! Seen in inside the frame rail at the end that is such an awesome add to any rig! AWESOME VIDEO. PEACE AND GREASE!

Very nice truck and trailer.

Nice interview flannel !
Never drill holes through the body to mount lights other than that love the truck
Nice truck the guy talking goodbye
Ever since he posted the Moon pedals I’ve loved them, once I get my lil winda it’s getting the moon pedals, just think it’s better than the same billet ones everyone else runs
Love the “Assman” license plate.
Hey Philip you should do a walk around interview with Jeremy Gouge's new orange KW A model build.
Always love your channel. I just wish I could do the same for the big truck shows here in Texas.
👍👍👍👍👍
Dziękuję
Pozdrawiam z Polski
Awesome truck! Curious though, what are the white dots on the dash?
How can you see over the wheel with the seat that low.
My 283 is pains to get around.
I've never understood the meaning of the bandanna around the steer column and gear shifter
Does he have any social media Platforms ? To see his work and progress on the truck
SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE PLASTIC CRAP THEY HAVE TODAY.
We don’t get to hear it run???
Did he have a brakesaver? Or was the extra trolly valve lower on the column for something else.
Great video btw.

Probably for the horn.
driving a 359 that gets 4-5 mpg with todays cheap freight .. 😂😂😂.. makes no money but looks cool, except for those air breathers .. and yes i own my self a 94 379 flat top 307 wb low low suspension that's parked 😂.. my 3 cascadias avg 8mpg so that makes me money
How do U know he's hauling Cheap Freight???? My family gets 6.5 -7 with W900L hauling ag products. We have DIRECT CUSTOMERS jst like they probably do!!!! # PACCAR PRIDE LARGECARS K-DUBBS & PETES!!!!!😎🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🇺🇸💎🏆💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰
Kudos 2 U if U like Cascadias but Everyone doesn't like plastic trks!!!!
Btw,, we have CATS in our W9's from B models, 2ws, 5ek, & 6nz gettin Gr8 fuel mileage in the Ag Hauling Business,
Not everyone pulls cheap freight
Not all freight is cheap! Just cuz you’re working cheap doesn’t mean everyone is!
Nice 🤘👍
