Climbed this mountain back in 1998. Began in rain with a cloud base at about 100ft; we remained in cloud and rain all the way to the top. So, it's nice to see all the views we missed! Thanks or posting. :-)
Brilliant video - thanks for sharing. Mrs T and I did this route on 2 June 1989 in similar conditions. Very happy memories. Longing to be allowed back to Scotland...
I take it you had a poor weather day! As you seen, we got lucky! 🍀 Gotta say that day scores highly on the, view-o-meter! Not enough time though, another trip required. Cheers for watching WW. 😀🤟
It was a great few days in that area. The views were pretty awesome from anywhere we went or stayed. Struck gold on the view front! Thanks for watching once again James. ATB D&L 😀🙏
Wow looks like you had stunning weather and views. Thanks for sharing , I hope you had a good nights sleep in Hamish PS was that a bear that jumped under the covers ??? I couldn't tell ? Take care :D Teddy
Was superb weather eh! We tend to sleep very well when with Hamish, normally the first night is our most restless, probably because we’re getting out of hectic mode and into hill mode.. Think it’s coo 🐄 jammies lol 😆
Stuart Carruthers probably unbeatable weather wise! Probably a while until we get that kind of day again! Rough with the smooth though! 😊🤟 As always thanks for commenting.
Cracking place and great pair of hills for a nice circuit 👍 looks like you camped on the nice pitch overlooking the Loch just by the cell towers on the hill side of the road.
Another great video guys.Loved doing these 2.Amazing views especially looking down the loch to Knoydart.i went anti-clockwise so hit the boggy section first, lol 😆 👍
What a cracking day - I was waving from across the Glen 👍 great to meet you both ATB Murray PS glad you didn’t have dash cam footage of my reversing skills 😂😂😂
Hey Murray.. We waved back lol !! I’ve got your poor reversing on film.. keeping hold of that for now though..haha..!! Wish I did have my camera to hand mind you! Beautiful area in those conditions. Need to spend more time their. Take care and hopefully bump into you again at some point. Dave & Lisa 😀🙏
Stunning 👏👏 Yous are inspiring but also costing me a small fortune on gear! 😆 Having to keep telling myself, "wee bit at a time Jamie boy"....thanks for another great video. Right Google, best drones.....
Hello You two. Location wise, this as to be one of your best video's. Fantastic mountainous views! Thank you for bringing these stunning images here to me in Nottingham.
Lovely video, it looks fantastic. Just wondered how you plan where to leave your van safely? Last time I left mine on a paid campsite while I went off wildcamping 😆
Hey Fraser, Thanks you. To be honest we don’t get to worried about planning an exact location but we always know roughly where we need to be depending on what we’re wanna do. Google earth etc. these are good to a point also walk reports in Walk Highlands normally have parking info. Theres a small risk, you always take a wee chance on car security! 😀🙏
Jaw dropping views that day... took as ages to get up the hill. Had to keep stopping to look at the views which changed with every step. Thank you Adam. 😊🙏
On the Adventure Trails - Scotland I’m hoping to move from England up near Inverness area soon, then I’ll be exploring loads of the places you visit, can’t wait! Also got cape wrath trail on my bucket list...😁👍🏻
Stunning day captured beautifully 👍 Love that Stalkers path up the first Munro. Would you mind telling me what camera you film with? Thinking of investing in one. Pleased to see you share camera retrieval duties - the pair of you must walk a few extra miles to bring us these videos - much appreciated especially on a dreich day like this👍
Hi Graham, Thank you very much! We’ve a GoPro Hero 8 on this trip. The drone s a Mavic Air. As for sharing the retrieval, it’s still a little one sided but she does her fare share, particularly when I’m tired at the end of the day. 😀💪
On the Adventure Trails - Scotland Thanks - the image quality looks brilliant. Look forward to your next adventure. Got the first two weeks in September up north so 🤞 get some decent weather.
I love your videos, but just one thing. Maybe its time to invest in a lav mic for your camera. The clear audio would make all the difference to your viewers. Other than that, fantastic as always guys and yes, i'm still waiting for my broken ankle to mend before I get get out there myself. Keep up the good work.
Hey, Thanks for the feedback. It’s very welcome. We’ve actually just bought the new media mod for our GoPro so may improve the audio quality. What we’re trying to do is not let the filming take over the reason for our adventure so we’re trying to keep the filming kit and fiddle factor to a minimum. We’re getting the hang of getting around without to much stop, start to film. For us it’s a wee balance and perhaps, trade off. Hope that ankles mending as it should. 😀🤞
@@ontheadventuretrails-scotl9389 My ankle is getting there slowly. But unfortunatly I think I've missed out on our glorious summer months :-(. As far as your filming V your adventures go, I totally understand. Still great stuff though.
Secret Scotland thank you! It’s a GoPro H8 and Mavic Air drone. Still trying to get the best settings on the drone though. Filmed in 2.7k Cheers for watching. 😊🤟
