Great video mate. In about 5 minutes, I changed & installed my visor with little trouble thanks to your video. Saved me at least $100-$200 dollars at the dealership!
To anyone else needing to do this same job, this video will help you out greatly [IMHO].
The dealer had no available appointment & am glad they didn't. This worked in my 2009 Rav4. God bless you! I bought the new visor on ebay.
Thanks, saved me $ 100 and 2 hours at the dealer. After watching video twice, took me less time to replace than watching the video. Thanks!
Thanks so much! I’ve been using a binder clip to keep it from hanging down, and your video gave me the courage to jump in and change it out! Money in my pocket!
I was stressing about installing this visor on my 2011 Camry. Your video made it look simple, and it was. THANKS! Great video.
Been looking for a video on how to do this, this was perfect!! Thank you sooo much! Changed mine out myself in 5 mins after watching 😃
Here's a problem I ran into replacing the 2010 RAV4 driver side visor. I was able to do the replacement as shown on this video. Great video by the way, the only one I could find to show how it is done easily enough. So, after a few weeks of driving around I notice the plastic cover was coming loose from one side. I kept pushing on it with my finger, harder and as hard as I could, even using the handle end of a screwdriver to try to get it to lock into place. A couple of times it looked like it was good but soon after starting coming loose again. I finally decided to take it all apart and re-install. I quickly found out that this is a one time install, at least for me. I ended up losing the spring clips one at a time into the roof of the car, The second one was lost when I tried to push the plastic cover piece into the spring clip to try and use only one clip to make the visor usable. I just got off the phone with NAPA and of course they have no spring clip parts for this visor. I called my local Toyota dealer parts department and the guy could not see anywhere on his computer a separate spring clip part. So, I have to sink another $79 into doing this once again. After close inspection of the roof and the mounting I noticed that the one side that would not hold tight has a slightly larger distance from the mount to the headliner. I believe this is what is causing me not to be able to push the plastic retainer cover into that one spring clip. If you look at the plastic retainer there are two plugs or square pieces that shove into the spring clips tightly and each one has a tiny plastic locking tab to hold it from pulling out with little force. This is why you see in the video our guy here is having a difficult time getting the plastic retainer to break free I believe. I just sick to have to shell out double the cash for this again and also in fear that I may not be able to get that one side to click into place. I do not want the visor to come loose of course and fall into my wife's lap or mine while driving. Good luck with this Toyota piece of crap engineering. I hope you have better luck than I did.
I'm having the similar issue. One side of the clip is so loose that the braket won't stay inside the hole. No matter what I try, it won't stay. Now I'm out of ideas how to secure the visor, and I'm not sure if there's a solution. I think Toyota did a horrible job designing this.
Thanks for the very helpful video. Great to have the visor stay up again!
Been looking for this for a few days now. Looks simple enough. Now, on to eBay...thanks so much for taking the time to post this.
Thank you for the video. Our RAV4 2006 had the same issue. Bought the visor off Amazon $50 and installed it like you did in 5 Min. Saving $ hundreds the dealerships wanted to fix it. 3/2018
Hi @ted do you have the link of where you bought it from amazon?
@@ello6107 www.amazon.com/dp/B07TXNG5W5 Hope this one can help.
Ordered my sun visor for my 2011 Toyota Venza today before I even take it to the dealership where I probably pay between $100-150🤣 Thank you very, very VERY much!!!🙏
Very helpful for replacing visor with map light feature - the other videos I found had demonstrators yanking the whole thing off, or just taking them out of packaging. Well done!
Very nice, I'll be doing the same thing for my 2010 RAV4, passenger side, in a few days when my replacement arrives.
Thank you for your video. It really helped with the install of the new Rav4 visor.
Thanks for the video. Good instructions. When you remove the the cover, the spring inside will automatically loose, and it is very easy to take it out.
Worked for my 2009 Camry with the light in the ceiling. Thanks!
Perfect!! I was able to switch mine out with little problems!! Thank you.
I have a 2011 camry with this problem and im going mad! Thanks for the easy to follow video!

Excellent video. Was able to change out old to new visor in less than 5 minutes. Thank you for your valuable TIME. :) Nicely Done.
Great video! It really helped me repair my Toyota visor. Thanks so much!
Great video that’s exactly what I needed to know I was wondering about the light if there was any kind of electrical plug or anything but evidently there isn’t straight forward simple thanks again

I'm getting a replacement today actually and I'm going to dissect it so I can see how it "works", so I know the general spot I can safely cut to learn how to fix it in case the passenger's visor goes bad one day as well
Very nice! Thanks for sharing!
Great job 👏
OMG It just worked after watching this video! Thanks a lot man

Help! Can anyone please tell me how to remove the other side? The little holder where you click the visor in? the I need to replace the headliner but I am stuck in that little piece :(
Nice video, You should leave the link from where you purchased the item
Why does no one have a video for the hook portion of the sun visor? The other side.
Simple TY
Thank you I save some dollars
THUMBS UP!
I had trouble with this at first, but when I had the outer layer slightly separated from the attached part it clicked right in.
Had to do the same. Worked perfect, thanks for the suggestion!
Good job buddy. Thank You!
Toyota dealership quoted me $350. Unreal.
This doesn't work for the 2002 Toyota Sienna, which requires a Philips screw driver.
Arent sun visors universal, for the most part?
No, please tell car make and model, I can help.
@@deanzhung5577 I have a 2000 Toyota Sienna. The mirror has fallen off, and a mirror light wire disconnected. At the same time, my fob no longer locks/unlocks the doors and I wonder if these issues could be related? At any rate, I need to replace the visor. Which piece do I need to buy please? Thank you
@@AnnieCarvalho Please try to search part number 74320AE025B0 on 3rd ecommerce platform. Meanwhile please pay attention to its origianl color.
Would love to do this but I need both visors and that is expensive still haha
I bought one on Amazon yesterday for $27.
Trying to find the right part at a reasonable price for a 2012 rav4 is next to impossible. The problem with dealers and their high prices (beside the high prices) is their lack of shame. They really think a sunvisor should cost $200.
70 dollars? you got burned
They ''wear out'' because there was a defect and recall, but Toyota did not let everyone know. Another version (minus DISTRACTING music) using screwdriver and better view. ruclips.net/video/9w6OEb2YBqw/видео.html
Dude! 20 dollars would be a good deal 😮
I fixed mine for $26 from Amazon
Amazon had them for $30.00
She definitely knows that she would not win. However, because of smart people keep pouring $$$ into hers. Why STOP. Free $$$.
Did you say 70$!!!!!!
Turn the terrible music up more. I almost could make out what you were saying.
I dont need fucking dance music to learn about a visor replacement, thanks
Why the music tho??? 🤦🏽♂️
next time shut down your music in the background. its so annoying.
This would be a lot easier to watch if it weren't for the obnoxious music.
Turn the music off please
Mechanic is very amateurish.
