Hi Lauren, just watching your video after scoring a couple of nap dresses from Poshmark. I love your kind and intelligent “take” on clothes and fast fashion. It’s refreshing to hear and see such a comprehensive review. Since I bought my dresses secondhand, just based on the look, I didn’t realize they were made in China. I can’t in good conscience support any country that is committing genocide-against the Uyghur people. I wish I had watched your review before buying. I’ve subscribed to your channel, and wish you all the best! Now I’m going to find some more of your videos! P. S. Thank you for letting me know what happens if you dry these dresses in a dryer-and more importantly, why-the elastic will crumble!! Pretty shoddy actually. I’m having buyer’s remorse after watching your video. That’s not a bad thing. Thank you.
Thank you so much for watching! Not all their dresses are made in China, but I understand. It's not an issue with their elastic, but any clothing made with elastic - it will wear down over time even if it isn't dried in the dryer. Thank you for subscribing :)
Bummer that they’re not made in the US, but if the company ethics are solid that makes it worth it. Congratulations on your pregnancy! I hope you’re still feeling better and making it through ok. 💕 This makes this review especially relevant if they last through all four trimesters. Maybe I’ll splurge for my next baby. :)
I agree! Love supporting good companies:) thank you!! I am feeling better, though it is likely because I have meds that are helping now. Thank you so much for watching - def worth the splurge. One of the only pieces I feel pretty in rn at 6 months pregnant.
Hi! Pre-pregnancy, I'm usually a small top and a medium bottom. In jeans I wear 26 in stretchy styles and 27 in non-stretchy. For these I'd go with whatever you are up top, because they are very flowy in the bottom!
My white one in this video is not. I wear it with a half slip. I don't think they've come out with one that is lined unless it is a limited tulle or something like that. Their basic Ellies are not lined from my experience.

Do you mean where they they made / manufactured? I actually address this in both the video and the blog post! The dresses are made in different places, so it varies per dress. Which dress are you inquiring about? I only mention the country of origin for the nesli and the ellie, so if you're looking for a different one, I am not a good resource for that / I'd ask the brand. Let me know if that wasn't your question and I will try to help you / get you an answer!
The quality isn’t that great. Received a dress with lots of snags on the garter and the worst past is they took so long to help me out(2 weeks). Actually idk if they even helped me out. After raising my concerns on social media they replied to me asking what’s going on and then never replied again. I had to call my credit card company. The material wasn’t that great too. I got the pink stripped one. I mean it’s cute but after the customer service I received they aren’t worth supporting.
Did you email their customer service? That’s the best way to go about it. That’s what I did and they were very helpful and fairly fast. Usually the person handling social media is not the same as the customer service team so by reaching out there you are adding a person in between instead of going straight to the source which is why it takes longer. Plus it’s not actually the customer service team. Sorry the dress had snags. I haven’t experienced that. To that point I love my white dress fabric, but the black fabric is just fine. Reading the fiber content (like I mentioned in the video) I should have known it would feel differently. Still really like their company and supporting them!

Thank you so much for creating this video. It’s so informative! I just bought the tulle powder blue one and am obsessed!
Yay!! So glad. Thank you for watching. I have been eyeing their new Anjuli nap dress in red. I love the simplicity of the straps!

Are nap dresses suitable for power nap and day napes
All of the above!
is the ellie lined??

Where are the dresses put together?

I love their designs but their fabric is a hit or miss.
I only have the two fabrics, but I would agree between the two. Love the white fabric!!
