Oh, it's nice that you've left some patches of wild flowers for the bees and insects - and the humans. I adore those tassel hyacinths (Leopoldia comosa, a relative of the common grape hyacinth or muscari) - I've transplanted some from the wild into my garden and it's always a delight to see them appear.

Try digging up the purple plants and see if they have a bulb. If so, you can collect them and take them back home and plant them. Or you can dig up a few of the plants and take them home and transplant them.

I hope this is not inappropriate to say, but I am truly struck by how you both seem to have emotional closure on this property (I of course mean this as a positive thing!). As a viewer/observer of your lives, I honestly haven’t given much thought to this property because I just follow you wherever you go, so imagine my shock when I felt a bit wistful today watching you tackling the loose ends before you sell. And I guess because it made me wistful, I really noticed that you both seem at peace with this property now… almost just like you’re landlords instead of its former residents. bea could you send theo and his tractor to south east queensland ? we have had sooo much rain all summer and the mowing has been quite a job lol. i live in suburbia an hour north of brisbane but i have a very large garden . 61 yrs old with fibromyalgia and its a nightmare lol. also its so good to see you feeling better and all your smiles . lots of love xxoo

Funny, I was thinking: "Spread the sand on the drive!" and they did. :D It will look great in videos and photos for the agents to use. And the sale will help financially as well as taking stress off you both.

Can we get a 100 degree view over the property and maybe from a drone? I have always wondered about the view from top of your property there and the boundaries. I love that it seems so "open" and without any close neighbours? Looks good when you keep it "clean" between the fruit trees, but I also like that you are thinking about the insects and leave some flowers for them. Loved that huge spot with Lavendel, beautiful . Can almost feal the smell. Love that place, but, unfortunately, I am to old to buy it.
