1. Is it hard to re-wrap the paracord back onto the handle after removing 2. How do you clean handle after getting it bloody? Do you have to remove paracord?
We have a video on rewrapping them! And it cleans up pretty well with soap and water and a little water pressure but we can rewrap it for you too through our Generations program. If it’s 52100 steel you’ll want to dry it immediately and apply a thin coating of blade wax to prevent patina
@@MontanaKnifeCompany thanks! Now I just need to be lucky enough to get one ordered when it comes i🥲back in stock and use my Andy Stumpf @ClearedHotPodcast discount code so he can get paid to help pay for that recent surgery lol 😂
If you leave the paracord on after getting it bloody or using it for a camp meal, how do you wash the handle? Will the damp cording rust the handle? I just got the magma cut version.
Great question! Our parkerized blades (the regular black blade versions of our knives) are parkerized from top to bottom, so it shouldn’t affect it by soaking in warm water with Dawn dish soap. Magnacut blades are greatly corrosion resistant as well and will do fine with soaking as well!
Why didn't they cut the legs off at the joints before loading the elk? Never seen someone use paracord to drag elk out. I just grab a leg. Or better yet get yourself a plastic sled. Much easier on snow. Any jimping on top of that blade?
Great question! It was mostly a demonstration for one of the uses of the paracord that comes on some of our knife models - however, there’s all kinds of ways to pack out animals 🤘
Hey guys, I’m a backpack elk hunter, looking for a new do it all knife. Will these knives de-bone an entire elk without touching up the blade? Would the speedgoat or Blackfoot be better for that job if weight isn’t a huge concern?
Yess, great hunt!
Watching these videos just make me want to buy all the knives.... keep up the great work!!!
Watching you guys load it in the truck was pretty cute, what a blast! 💕

Very nice. Looks like a great experience for the kids. I've put in for 3 years now for tags there, no luck so far but can't wait for thr day!
