Waking up to a magpie warbling in the morning is one of the most relaxing things for this Aussie.
i respectfully disagree, but i will concede they're much better than the bogan laughter track that is crows/ravens. little shits sounds a couple cattle stockman yelling a conversation from opposite ends of a field
I don't know why, but, having the PEPSIMAN theme going while talking about that four-nozzled fire hydrant just about made me die laughing.
I swear I don't know why but I caught onto that, the theme was just so subtle yet my ears were hyper focused on both the theme and the description going on the the dogs downstairs, it was loud and clear
I spent my teen years in Aus and it is always funny to see these reactions.
Funnily enough, Australian magpies are not even corvids. They're butcherbirds.

Aurora Borealis is the northern lights, Aurora Australius are the southern works. Normally in the blue green range, less color variation than the north

Aussie here. Yeah random use of fact and fiction and loosely identified animals and photos reinforcing the myth that Australia as a real life Jumanji game or Jurassic Park. The whole country is the outback Sydney is the capital and its always hot. Everywhere. All the time. And you can visit Sydney The Great Barrier Reef and Uluru in a few days. Ok. Knock yourself out. But Neal is real and so are drop bears. Prove me wrong.

Lol moved to the outback from melbourne but ended up in surfers paradise which is like soooo far away (melbourne is in the state of victoria, surfers paradiise is 2 states away in queensland)
