I think its beautiful that this mans friends and mentees gathered around him in his time of need so he could continue doing the ministry God called him to. I wish I saw more compassion in these comments.
Wow! I can't believe they did we'll meet again. That's one of my dad's favorite songs. My dad never knew nothing about the Canton Spirituals until one night a couple of years ago when he was going through some things, I decided to let my dad listen to that song and that song blessed him so much he started to listen to it every day and became a fan of them. And he loved Harvey Watkins voice so much he put him at his top vocalist of all times. It was peebo Bryson but they're neck to neck lol. The group couldn't be turned over to the Dewayne. I love Dewayne myself and I am from the local area. You can't live any lifestyle and try to sing gospel to people.God wants us to be true servants. There are many gospel quartet groups that goes through changes. Everyone has their opinion about the Canton Spirituals but I love them. Preacher Man, you have a right to not pay a nickel to see them but there are many others that will pay $20 or more to see them like me. Please lift the Canton Spirituals up in your prayer. I believe that is what preachers should be doing. Remember, your opinion doesn't depicts the opinions of others. There is always going to be someone that disagree with you.
