Have any tips for the essay, and is my GAP fine? I have 3.58, and taking 3 APS in my senior year, and developing my activitys. Ive worked summer jobs and assisted with my brothers and my dads trucking business and am certainly working on creating an IOS app. I'm also a self taught guitarist and pianist. I've worked as a technician assistant and was exposed to the real world. I have 11+ years of community service in my local church. What are your thoughts on my chances? And how can i prepare for the essay?
Im also planning to make a Typing club where I teach people how to excel in typing, I type 178 WPM. So my knowledge can be valuable to people who have a hard time typing.
The fact that people would be afraid to go to UVA because of the party life sounds absolutely ridiculous to me. If you don't want to be a part of it, just don't get involved in it. No one's forcing you to join a fraternity or sorority. I was cooped up in my dorm most of the time studying. I didn't join any clubs, but I still enjoyed my time there.
Hey! I got into the McIntire School as a out of state transfer. For me the cost of attendance is $85k and I got a scholarship of $64k which makes the total net cost $21k. Do tou think it’s worth the cost? Thank you!
In my opinion it’s worth it! Poets&Quants recently ranked McIntire School No.2 among undergrad business programs in the US. Its also quite difficult to get into being an out of state transfer student due to only having an 18 percent offer rate with 80 percent of whom being in state students. Congrats on the scholarship! I hope everything works out for you!
