      If you look at my RUclips videos on Layla. I did a recent before and after on her 90 second video. I put down what she uses on her skin underneath in the description. It’s a great home care regimen for dry skin types.

    Thank you so much Nerida as always, I've watched many of your videos 🙏🏼. I have never visited an esthetician or dermatologist before, apart from reading their reviews please can you tell me what I should look out for or how best to choose one? Secondly, although quite oily I think I do suffer surface dryness which comes up quite alot in your videos. I use micellar water as my cleanser and a gentle exfoliator a couple of times a week and moisturise each day. Is it usually just changing cleanser that alleviates surface dryness?

    • @NeridaJoySkincare
      @NeridaJoySkincare  Год назад +1

      Yes, the water may be drying you. I have a great cleanser call confidence on my site neridajoy.com.
      When it comes to dermatologist and Facialist, your best to get recommendations from other people that have been there. What area are you in?

    What type of products to buy for a 73 year old with very dry sensitive skin, also hooded eyes?

  • @mirinaxo1663
    @mirinaxo1663 Год назад +1

    I was planning on buying a couple Rejuvi products (the healing gel and the q flavonoid) but when I looked at the ingredients, they have oils in them and I have been using oil free products for a few years now, and it seems to have really helped. What are your thoughts on this?
    Also, can I’ve recently gotten oily after having some hormonal changes and after having fairly clear skin, it’s breaking out. I definitely have the oily underneath and the surface dryness you speak of. But having sensitive skin I have to be careful what I use on my skin, so I’m sort of unsure how to get rid of the surface dryness.

    • @NeridaJoySkincare
      @NeridaJoySkincare  Год назад +1

      It’s about a formula as a whole…. They are not oily products and I have used rejuvi for 30 years very successfully.
      If you are surface dry, there is something wrong with your regimen.
      I talk a lot about surface dryness and how to correct it and you have to start with your cleanser. 👍🥰
      Have you seen my other videos on RUclips?

    • @mirinaxo1663

      @@NeridaJoySkincare yes I have been watching your videos nonstop and I am trying to take the information that you give and figure out where abouts I am going wrong! I feel many of my current breakouts are from food and hormones, which I am dealing with internally but it’s the surface dryness that is the most difficult externally. I’m trying to figure out how to properly exfoliate my skin as well as hydrate my skin without using products that cause more break outs. Even when my skin was mostly break a free, I still had the small little under the skin bumps and have always dealt with dryness. I wish so badly I could have you look at my skin and just tell me what to do like you do all the beautiful models in your videos. They’re so blessed.
      Ps. I use the First aid beauty cleanser… I thought it was working, but perhaps I need a change.

    Why is scarring so common on the temples ?? Really curious

    • @NeridaJoySkincare
      @NeridaJoySkincare  Год назад +1

      Yes, it is really common on the temples. The skin there is very thin and healing is very difficult. It requires working in a lot of healing treatment products to feed and really nurture the skin. Even after peeling it’s the most difficult area to treat for pitting.

    Is ivory soap good for your skin

    • @NeridaJoySkincare
      @NeridaJoySkincare  Год назад

      It’s drying to the surface of the skin. Do not use it. Because cleansing is 50% of your regimen it’s important to use a cleanser that keeps your clean, but soft and supple.
      Try the Rejuvi K cleanser . It’s great and men love to shave with it too.

      You shouldn't use soap. It will dry out your skin. Try Dove Sensitive Skin Beauty Bar. Sold at Costco at a cheaper price.

    Do you have any recommendations on ways to decrease testosterone?

    • @NeridaJoySkincare
      @NeridaJoySkincare  Год назад +4

      If you feel your hormone levels are high in testosterone, it is best to go to an endocrinologist and have your hormone levels checked. Sometimes if you have painful hormonal acne, PCOS or dark facial hair, that is a good indication of higher testosterone levels.🩵

    • @NeridaJoySkincare
      @NeridaJoySkincare  Год назад +1

      You have to see an endocrinologist or a doctor. Some people go on a contraceptive pill, which is more estrogen to help their skin.
      Be careful of the amount of red meat you may eat. 🩵

    What’s the best way to remove nlackheads

    • @NeridaJoySkincare
      @NeridaJoySkincare  Год назад +5

      The best way to remove blackheads is by extractions. You can certainly keep them at bay by making sure that you’re using a good cleanser and removing it with a warm wet washcloth every night x2. Make sure your cleanser isn’t too drying and stripping on the surface of the skin. Use a good exfoliants that has a little either papaya enzyme or AHA in it, so that it absorbs dead cells. Don’t use products that are comedogenic. I have a video on my RUclips showing how to wash your face correctly. Please view that to make sure that you were doing it correctly so that you are getting the best results with your cleansing.❤

    • @nancycornicelli3888

      @@NeridaJoySkincare yes, I know it’s by extractions, but their very hard to remove and tools leave marks and by hand isn’t very effective. Is there something else that works best?
