Hello, I´m travelling to Venice to take some portraits of the Masks. Please can you help me with some points? The Masks are in the street during all days of the carnival? Are they some days during the carnival, when the streets are not overcrowded and it´s possible to take better photos? I heard about taking photos during the sunrise (6-7AM) with the Masks - is it official or it´s only for private groups? Thank you very much in advance for your help
Hi, To answer your questions : Yes they're in the streets during all the carnival. Usually it's very crowded during all the carnival, better early morning or the evening, and avoid Piazza San Marco during peek hours. For early morning photos, it's not private (some might do it), so you should see them and be able to take pictures.
