From Addie putting her soul into this this song, to brad using a Clamp for getting the right sounds and his producer work, to Joe smacking his drumset and doin his tricks. nailed it again is all i can say.
This perfectly captures the beauty in contrast between raspy, soft low notes and powerful, emotional high note. Beautiful voice, amazing cover.

This is definitely one of your more underrated covers. Addie’s, you’re at your best when your voice gets a lil gritty! This performance is at the same level as your cover of Falling Away from Me

Your both dumb. This is a cover. Changing the pronouns would be changing the original song stupid. That would be plagiarism & massive copyright law suites. This is not a gay version.

When bands attempt to profit off of covered songs, they have to go through the original artist and/or their team first so they approve of it. Pronouns can be changed or not changed, it doesn't matter until the artist/band gives the thumbs up for the cover. Covers change genders/pronouns all the time, might want to dig a little deeper next time.

What happened there at 2:47? Shouldn't that last bit be "never coming home, never coming home. never coming home, never coming home"?
I think what made that song so great was the video. All these ww2 soldiers and the words "never coming home " being repeated. Then at the end he gets so caught up in the intensity of the battle he doesn't finish the song.

MCR was my favourite band growing up, and I happened to love to sing. I went to singing lessons and had to practice and perform musical theatre songs because “that’s just what my voice suits” when I was really hardcore into alternative rock. I always thought that bc I’m a girl I can’t cover my favourite bands’ music, because that’s what I’ve always been told. This cover really inspired me and I just feel so full of admiration, so thank you💕
