I absolutely love the nursery and all the touches of Karen’s personality through out each space makes the whole room so special! I think the shelves next to the window nook is a great idea, especially if they’re accessible for a toddler’s height. Also, the nursery reminds me of a Montessori style nursery- so if you wanted to focus on sensory and motor skill then I suggest adding a mirror in front of those power outlets, or possibly more shelves that have baskets full of sensory toys, more books, puzzles etc.

As a mom of a 10 month old and another one due in a few weeks - you are so precious and have put so much thought into the room and how your baby’s going to use it! And you’ll definitely be adapting it as she grows and starts moving around and playing and getting into trouble. My little boy LOVES mirrors - I’m sure your baby girl is going to love looking at herself and her mommy and daddy’s reflections in that floor to ceiling mirror! I love the room! This is how I would’ve done my son’s room too, he gets super distracted and I think this would’ve helped him not get over stimulated. I didn’t see any mittens in her drawer so if you don’t have some I definitely recommend them!
The room looks really good! If possible, try to secure furniture such as the dresser to the wall. Some kids like to climb and while the furniture is probably sturdy there is always a chance something could go bad if a kid tries to climb them.
One thing you should consider investing in is a crib mattress that is breathable and helps to prevent SIDS. As a mother of a full grown, that is one thing I am glad we splurged on it.

The crib size totally shows it's only for the babies 1-8 mnths old or so. And it's quite high, the cord is outside. She simply can't grab the cord . Understand that first.
Lord of people have cords hanging down for their baby monitor camera and they just cover them with a cord cover. Looks similar to a tiny white PVC pipe, she probably just hadn’t done that yet. Makes it safe for the baby. I see what you’re saying but shes very conscientious so I wouldn’t worry too much. ♥️

I gifted my daughter a wooden kitchen for her 3rd birthday last week !! I’m sure Dove would love it too when she is older !! My daughter has battery toys as well but she loves the wooden onces because she can make different noices everytime instead of the same “what a battery toy ‘ does !!!
idk if this has any value to you but once in a psychology class my teacher told us that you shouldn’t let under 1-year-old (or 2 i can’t remember) babies watch anything on your phone or a moving screen... i can’t remember the exact reason at the moment but just thought i’d let you know!

Just a tip, I know bumpers are controversial for some but in my experience they are necessary because Dove will move around and around in her crib! Also I would say to move the crib to your room when you start transitioning her into her crib after the bassinet and once you feel comfortable and think she’s comfortable too, then move her to her room. It can sound like too much but as a new momma you will feel nervous/anxious about not being with her so this is a good way to create Doves independence in a gradual way
Nice & cosy room great start! We were not as prepared as u guys... highly recommend waterproof mattress protector under all the bedsheets of baby beds & your own adult bed, as baby can puke pee poo anytime anywhere! Sponging off stuff on your mattress in the middle of the night is not fun when both of you are already super exhausted/overwhelmed as new parents!
I noticed that the stand for your Design Dua bassinet goes from side to side but the ones on the website go back and forth!? 🤓🤔 Did you get the stand with the crib because side to side seems way more cosy - I want that 😂
