I have the fiesta red Noventa Jazzmaster. It’s absolutely gorgeous, and I’m using Earthquaker Devices’ Rainbow Machine to bend the pitch all over the place. So much fun. I just need to practice constantly to get anywhere close to this guy’s skill level.
This is by far the best demo of this guitar, Dagan got some sweet ass tones from this guitar. Never had a guitar with p90’s, but I seriously want one of these Noventa guitars now. The tele and jazzmaster look the best to me.

I built basically this exact guitar from warmoth back in april when the first stimulus came out. Yeah I spent the whole thing on an amazing Jazzmaster with a SD hot p90 in the bridge and a SD vintage p90 in the neck. Dyed the body wood purple after staining the grain black, it's got a full maple birdseye neck. Can't put it down, I dig this fender but I beat ya to it!
f*** me that is a beautiful thing to hear. I have the p90 Offset Mustang, but I've always loved the look and sound of Jazzmasters, Jaguar's and the like. An P90's are just my favourite thing in the world guitar wise right now.
They’ve been making the Jetstream 390 for years and it comes with a much better trem system. I got mine when they first started making them. Routed mahogany and spruce top. Now they are solid korina, I believe.
DUDE, when will you be getting your hands on the new EVH 5150 standard? I’m so close to deciding to get one, but I want to hear your opinion on them first 😂
I just got the Noventa Jazzmaster in red a few hours ago, and it's going back. Like I do with every guitar, I put new strings on (Ernie Ball 9's in this case), and went to plug it in (Boss Katana wireless adapter). Didn't work. Pushed the adapter in, it started working. I'd have to hold it in. Adapter works on all my other guitars today (American Tele, American Strat, Gibson ES-339) but not on this one. No one told me Jazzmasters have a different cable size/type protocol, but if they don't, this one's defective or improperly set up. I thought maybe something's loose, so I turned the bolt holding the output plug half turn, and the effer fell right in. I'd have to remove the new strings, pickguard, knobs, etc, to put the washer/bolt back on. Using a standard cable, there's no way this would have passed QA. The tuners are so cheap - like the kind you'd find on a Best Buy guitar. To be fair, my American Strat had nasty tuners but not this bad. I replace tuners usually on my first string change. The guitar weighs a TON. It's ridiculously heavy. No reason it should be. MIM guitars have cheaper accessories, and I've got nothing against MIM guitars. When they cost more than the American guitars, however, I want my money's worth & with this guitar, I'm not getting it. This was $1500 CDN, my American Performer HSS Strat cost $1400. American quality is usually obvious, I know that's arguable but it's been my experience. If I buy a Fender for a US price, it's gonna be a US model. This 'review' sounds a bit sulky but I was pretty anxious to play this & there is NO WAY this guitar is worth what I paid. It's more in line with $800 MIM guitars I've had. Too bad, cause I didn't even get to hear it. The output jack design seems intentionally awful. This is kind of a self-own, but TBH, the Jazzmaster itself is a pretty bad design. I don't mind quirky but the bridge & neck angle are kind of 'mistake-ish'. Live & learn. Now, to find a comfortable guitar with P90s....I'd always appreciate recommendations. I did consider the Tele, but one P90 on a Tele & it's $1200 CDN? Let me know when that's $700 & we'll talk.

As far as value is concerned, no - it's not worth the $1400 CDN ($100 cheaper than the Jazzmaster) I paid, but after trying all the P90 equipped guitars in my area, the Strat made most sense. First off I'll say you're always making a good decision to get an American model over a MIM. Hypocritical of me, but it's about P90s for me in this case, not the guitar's resale. I tried a Gibson Junior with P90s, and a Gibson TV Special with P90s to start off. The Junior was light & had a nice fretboard. The TV Special was really low quality - must've been a factory second. Plus, to appreciate how much better a Fender P90 is compared to Gibson, you have to have a session with each. It's just my opinion here, but Fender's P90s sound WAY better. NOVENTA The Jazzmaster is beautiful. As I posted, it's just way too heavy & the 3rd P90 is just silly overkill. There might be slightly more diversity of tone, but you'd have to be quincy effing jones to notice it. Jazzmasters are great - I tried one before ordering this one, but hadn't considered that my pick too often hit the middle pickup. The fact I had to add a washer to the wireless amp plug to get it to work was just an annoyance. Thing is, for $1500 CDN it should've been better. Didn't have locking tuners either. I've got an American Performer Strat that cost $1400, why would I pay more for a MIM guitar? The Tele was my #1 pick. Its beautiful Ebony fretboard almost sold me. You can get a LOT of range out of the single pickup. I was about to buy it, til I saw the serial number, which starts with 'MX' of course, was smudged. $1250 CDN, no discount for the fact it's a demo, no discount for the (badly) smudged serial. To hell with that. The Strat was what I bought. It's comfortable, and with its 3-way Strat switch and 2 P90s, you get as much diversity of sound as you'll ever get from a guitar with P90s. My Boss Katana Amp plug fits in perfectly without having to add a washer. $1400 is too expensive for a MIM, but I decided to shop for sound. I doubt it being a 75th anniversary edition means a thing regarding resale but it can't hurt. I got the daphne blue with maple neck. The black pickups kind of stand out & make the guitar look 'odd', but I've ordered silver plastic pieces to replace the pickup covers, switch tip & volume/tone knobs & I'll see how that looks. This is my 1st guitar with Kluson-style tuners & I have to admit, I'm not a fan. I just replaced them with locking Kluson tuners & it's better, but I'd much rather the locking Fender tuners. The sound is what matters most, and it's incredible.
@@bugglebegger143 That's the color I'd get as well. You can't go wrong with a Pro 2. Not having to endure Kluson style tuners is worth an upgrade in cost IMO.
@@joelmiddaugh8229 I was super confused about traditional jazzmasters until I played one. But I thought the knobs on the upper bout were slider switches. Took about 2 minutes to understand it
@@joelmiddaugh8229 yeah I get it now. Just looking at pictures I thought the tone and volume on the top were switches. Once I played one at a store it made a lot of sense very simple.

I looked and can't find a left-handed in any of the Noventa series. I'd love a fiesta red or surf green Jazzmaster for us lefties.

For some reason a 5 way switch on a JM just throws me off too much.
And the traditional jazzmaster controls aren’t confusing ? That rhythm circuit famously threw off everyone.

@@christopherkaesemeyer1575 you've got a "dark" switch with its own volume and tone rollers and that disengages the normal controls. Pretty basic.
