In reading the comments…The question is more on what you need it for, Editing, OS (Programs) or Basic File Storage. 2800mbps to 3200mbps is extremely fast for most applications. I have 2 - Thunderbolt 4 Enclosures with WD Digital SN850X connected to my Mac Studio averaging 3100Mbps…that handles “everything” I throw at it, fast and smoothly. I just bought the M4 MacBook Pro for travel/work and I’m waiting on a TB5 enclosure specifically for the TB5 of this Laptop. Do I need 6000+ Mbps… that will actually rival or go faster than my Internal 1TB ? No… but I want it… for Business Expenses. I may never tap all the power of both the Internal and this TB5 but people need to match their actual needs first. Even if you get your Rendering and local Transfer down to a Science, you may still bottleneck at your online upload delivery service. You have to think 🤔 this though as how it will work for you.
I have an ACASIS drive. I got the 990 Pro 1TB. I wonder if I should have gone with a cheaper model like the P3 since they are both limited by the speeds of the TB4 interface anyways. So whatever gains on a better drive are minimal.
