I'm with Synergy and by taking advantage of the discounts, in May alone paid for a new set of tires on my pickup. It blows my mind that some of these drivers don't use the discounts available! They're literally throwing money away.
I agree! I don’t get it when they mention how fuels over $3/gal, etc. etc. maybe “at the pump” but I’m still down at $2.65-ish with the fuel discounts!
Own a gym and have to work out at Planet Fitness. That sucks. You should do a video on easy work outs you can do on road like with bands and stuff. Love the content keep it up

When I was doing RV transport. I got some of the trucker bungees and used them to do all kinds of resistance training. 2 small ones 2 medium and 2 long ones. W my gym experience like you I was able to pump the guns and tighten up my much need workout no problem...
To many transporters get very unhealthy fast out on the road. With no youtube back then to show others and get paid on RUclips so get after it and put together a work out and video it at truck stops and rest stops. I worked out in some of the coolest remote places. It was really fun too.

There could be some pretty cool outdoor workouts while on the road!! I’m more of a traditional strength and conditioning type of guy so ultimately need access to weights but would love to do some outdoor conditioning workouts when the time works!!

1. Do you take a certain percent out for taxes ?
2. After each load do you take the taxes out on your settlement or after Fuel and expenses ?
3. When you show your spreadsheet on here is the fuel round trip or one way ?
4. How do you figure out your fuel ?
5. Do you fill up at pick up and drop off ?

Hey Robert!
1- no, I use the maintenance account as a "tax savings" account. Because of all the expenses you have or moreso the standard deductions being more, you'll find you don't have to pay in much, if any, at all!
2- My maintenance funds is 15% of the final settlement- so I take 15% from the pay before deducting the amount I spent in fuel for the trip.
3- Round trip, as it's all part of the "business trip/expenses"
4- Not sure what you mean here... Finding fuel- I use the company discount app that syncs with our comdata card to get found discounts. Trip fuel- I just total the amount spend from the first fuel stop to the last of that given trip.
5- I fuel up at the cheapest places along the route and plan accordingly so that I'm putting just enough fuel in to get me to the cheapest fuel on that given trip!
