The thing about BTS dances is they may look simple but they’re moving every single body part in the dance. It takes a lot of training to be able to move both your arms and feet and head to music, making it look natural and good. They make sure to put a lot of passion and “umph” into each move too, making it look even more powerful. Visuals have to be on point too, never showing you’re tired. The thing is you have to memorize each move, whether it is a turn, or a step change or something as simple as a simple as a neck roll. Since they have very upbeat music, they have something changing almost every beat, even if we can’t catch it it’s happening. As a whole they’re completely synchronized, no one is out of step... I haven’t seen anyone more synchronized than BTS. As rookies they practiced for 18 hours a day or even longer.

The thing about BTS dances is they may look simple but they’re moving every single body part in the dance. It takes a lot of training to be able to move both your arms and feet and head to music, making it look natural and good. They make sure to put a lot of passion and “umph” into each move too, making it look even more powerful. Visuals have to be on point too, never showing you’re tired. The thing is you have to memorize each move, whether it is a turn, or a step change or something as simple as a simple as a neck roll. Since they have very upbeat music, they have something changing almost every beat, even if we can’t catch it it’s happening. As a whole they’re completely synchronized, no one is out of step... I haven’t seen anyone more synchronized than BTS. As rookies they practiced for 18 hours a day or even longer.
I know right! at first you might think "oh, they're just doing that, but then you notice their legs and arm are moving at the same time, but to different directions, and you notice their head is also bobbing slightly, and it just become more and more complicated as you learn more about it! I struggle moving my legs and arm to the same direction at the same time, yet BTS is so effortless, they're really amazing
I remember rewatching other groups choreo and being shocked because they seemed so "slow" or "not moving enough" after watching BTS lol
Don't get me wrong, even the other groups are amazing, the ones I rewatched just didn't have such powerfull choreo as BTS
