yup and this ugly 'smiling but red-eyed/angry' thing was the thing that happened to me as well... i was saying to children random crazy words that I DONT BELIEVE OR THINK OR AGREE WITH AT ALL . and i had LITERALLY NO control over it .. it happened only a few times... i there was a jinn/witchcraft/something on me, and it went after one particular time when i recited Al Kursi during a crazy out of body experience that has NEVER happened to me before or since (i did ayat al kursi CONSTANTLY ANYWAY, and i did ruqyah a lot...not because i knew i was 'bewitched' or 'possessed' but just since it is relaxing, but also i felt something was very wrong with me and wanted to try that )-- basically.. at night during a weird 'vision' in which i was out of my body, outside on the street, and no matter what i did i couldnt do anything, i knew i was out of my body too, i could feel it, the sensations, i could hear people or something around me but i was not IN the body -- like barely connected to it ! i swear this was not a dream.. it was a vision or image - i couldnt move my body but i could feel it , but i was NOT IN IT, but outside on the street at night.. in no 'form' ...and some other details but anyway i recited the three Quls, and in my mind's eye my spirit .. i.e. my view-- got to the window and actually saw jinn 'partying' -- and they all looked different, e.g. one had blue skin and the head of a bull, one looked like a pretty girl with a long soft rose dress and gold headband, etc etc -- and i recited ayat al kursi focusing on the meaning intently in my mind and they tried to stop me, and my 'spirit' flew right to the centre of them-- they scattered and disappeared-- and a magician at the centre, was there and stepped forward to intimidate me-- just a vision mind you--guy in a cloak, his face was painted half black, half white, and holding a 'staff' -- immediately knew that was the source of it, like Allah told me this -- i just never felt so sure of anything in my life-- and i kept reciting it in my mind and my spirit went right to him, he looked scared suddenly, and then they all disappeared- and i was back in my body-- it is the weirdest thing that has ever happened to me and it was NOT a dream-- i can feel and know the difference)
the best part about this story is she was not intimidated by her dad, and i know for a fact her dad was definitely possessed or had magic on him -- and i know she senses it too or she wouldnt give so many details about it -- -and still she researched and kept practicing-- this shows her courage.
Masha Allah ❤ When i listen to her story, there are many signs of Allah's protection. Her mother is a good mother. When we reflected our past, we will surely see that Allah is always there and protect us when we were doing good deeds. I always read 3 times of surah al-Ikhlas, an-Nas, al-Falaq for morning and evening as protection against evils (satan).

Why do people think Allah commended muslim women only to marry muslim men? This story is one of many that happens to people. Men are the leading force in the household. In Islam and outside. If muslim men is with jewish/ christian women, they'll let them practice their deen. As we are told to let them practice their deen and respect it! A none-muslim men, if it doesn't sit well with him, won't let you practice your deen. And this happens in the long term. This is one reason why Allah forbade the muslim women to marry none-muslim men however, there could be more reasons ofc. Who are we to question Allah's commandment? Like literally, who are we?!

Just sincere advice coming from a fellow muslim, the intro makes the video seem inauthentic. By adding in those dramatic clips and effects it can make the video seem disingenuous (although I know this is not the case). I'm trying to see from an outsiders perspective, if I wasn't a muslim I would be sceptical because of the vibe of the intro, so I think in some ways it takes away from the story of the reverts just a little bit. It is clear that the father of this Sister, even though his hatred for Islam has diminished, is a DISBELIEVER. The Sister's story has laid bare the FITNAH in allowing Muslim women to marry DISBELIEVERS and the HIKMAH behind why Allah(swt) has forbidden such a marriage. Allah(swt) states in the Quran, Chapter 2, Verse 221: Do not marry polytheistic women until they believe; for a believing slave-woman is better than a free polytheist, even though she may look pleasant to you. And do not marry your women to polytheistic men until they believe, for a believing slave-man is better than a free polytheist, even though he may look pleasant to you. No matter our social or family ties with the people of the book, we should know that the TRUTH and FALSEHOOD are not equal, as Allah(swt) states in the Quran, Chapter 58, Verse 22: You will not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day having affection for those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, even if they were their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their kindred. Those - He has decreed within their hearts faith and supported them with spirit from Him. And We will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him - those are the party of Allah - they are the successful. Sahih International Our relationship with the people of the book should be defined by this statement of Allah(swt). However, the men don't understand that they are to guide their wives to islam as Allah has stated that the duty of a husband is to guide is wife from the fire. Thus, I believe due to the wide spread of marrying non muslims by Muslim men and lack of knowledge, women believed the same was applicable to them. May Allah guide us all.

Allahu Akbaru kabeera, wal-hamdu Lillahi katheera, wa Subhan-Allahi bukratan was asila
(Allah is Great, the Greatest, and praise belongs to Allāh in abundance, and glorified be Allāh at the beginning and end of the day),
So the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) asked (after prayer): “Who said such and such?!!” The man replied: “I did O Messenger of Allāh.” So the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) said: “I was amazed by it, for it opened the gates of heaven.”

Why do people think Allah commended muslim women only to marry muslim men? This story is one of many that happens to people. Men are the leading force in the household. In Islam and outside. If muslim men is with jewish/ christian women, they'll let them practice their deen. As we are told to let them practice their deen and respect it! A none-muslim men, if it doesn't sit well with him, won't let you practice your deen. And this happens in the long term.
This is one reason why Allah forbade the muslim women to marry none-muslim men however, there could be more reasons ofc. Who are we to question Allah's commandment? Like literally, who are we?!

Just sincere advice coming from a fellow muslim, the intro makes the video seem inauthentic. By adding in those dramatic clips and effects it can make the video seem disingenuous (although I know this is not the case). I'm trying to see from an outsiders perspective, if I wasn't a muslim I would be sceptical because of the vibe of the intro, so I think in some ways it takes away from the story of the reverts just a little bit. Other than that you guys are doing great work Allahumma barik, may Allah reward all those involved in the organisation. As salaamu alaykum.

Interesting yet sad Revert story that shows why a Muslim woman should not marry a DISBELIEVER.
It is clear that the father of this Sister, even though his hatred for Islam has diminished, is a DISBELIEVER.
The Sister's story has laid bare the FITNAH in allowing Muslim women to marry DISBELIEVERS and the HIKMAH behind why Allah(swt) has forbidden such a marriage.
Allah(swt) states in the Quran, Chapter 2, Verse 221:
Do not marry polytheistic women until they believe; for a believing slave-woman is better than a free polytheist, even though she may look pleasant to you. And do not marry your women to polytheistic men until they believe, for a believing slave-man is better than a free polytheist, even though he may look pleasant to you. They invite ˹you˺ to the Fire while Allah invites ˹you˺ to Paradise and forgiveness by His grace. He makes His revelations clear to the people so perhaps they will be mindful

No, I am not blaming her, I am just highlighting a problem that we have in some countries with a mixed Christian and Muslim population where there is too much intermingling to the extent that the line that separates the two religions is blurred by the carelessness of Muslims in not following the Shariah.
No matter our social or family ties with the people of the book, we should know that the TRUTH and FALSEHOOD are not equal, as Allah(swt) states in the Quran, Chapter 58, Verse 22:
You will not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day having affection for those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, even if they were their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their kindred. Those - He has decreed within their hearts faith and supported them with spirit from Him. And We will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him - those are the party of Allah - they are the successful.

Our relationship with the people of the book should be defined by this statement of Allah(swt).
To conclude, I ask Allah(swt) to make Muslims derive benefit from you sharing your story, and not commit the same mistake.

@@1GratefulSlave. I understand. I think it is because Muslim men are allowed to marry people of the book- Christians and Jews. However, the men don't understand that they are to guide their wives to islam as Allah has stated that the duty of a husband is to guide is wife from the fire. Thus, I believe due to the wide spread of marrying non muslims by Muslim men and lack of knowledge, women believed the same was applicable to them.
