Our very astute viewers recognized Alex Clarke of The Learning Tree in the toothpaste ad and picked up on the adjective, "discriminating", in the Maxwell House commercial having a loaded meaning in the context of the commercial's setting with a black servant happy for his master's success. But no one mentioned Rod Perry's participation in the last commercial. He was one of the stars on the S.W.A.T. tv series and the star of blaxploitation's The Black Gestapo and The Black Godfather. Peace and Blessings to the ReelBlack family. Stay safe and be well.

Candace Loves Not trying to challenge or attack you at all, (only trying to understand you)
Many black people that I’ve spoken to (or debated) seem to have it their head that their negative media representation or lack of it has always been as it is now. ( I disagree with that assertion) The 70- thru the 80s (in my opinion) is a time they were actually getting it right. ...( do you agree?)

When we were kids we watched "Julia" and later, "Sanford and Son" and "The Jeffersons" and never thought, "Let's watch a Black show!". Though we're (considered) White, we would watch "Good Times" and comment on how much it was like the way we lived (...and worried about the rent!). The minds of young people today have been twisted to see Race in everything. It's the oldest trick in the Marxist playbook - Divide and Conquer - and young people who've had little, or NO exposure to real history, are falling for it HOOK-LINE-AND-SINKER.
