    You're video saved my husband's show tonight. We didn't have DMX dongle hookup and thanks to your video, i as a roadie was able to trigger the fog manually. You are a lifesaver!

      Glad it helped..but for future shows ...to make tbings easier.. definitely buy some wireless dongles and a 6 channel Dmx controller..it will make your life easier..
      Below is the link for the donner wireless adapters I use.

      I have both and this is definitely a game changer. Especially with dmx control. I use just a simple 6 channel dmx controller with a donner wireless adapter...i can control this with out leaving the dj booth and not dmx wires running all over the place

      You'll love it....key is.. Use it through DMX. Its a game changer... P.s. gets some donners to make it completely wireless if you have to use across the room so you don't have to run a long cord

    Best review I have seen yet of this product, does it take long before you can fire it up again? Or would you not let the water temperature go below a certain level?

    • @darrinbridgman3002
      @darrinbridgman3002 2 года назад +1

      Thank you for the compliment. Once you use the machine, the temperature automatically drops. You can't control the temp. The only way to quickly get it back up is to use the extra charging cord it comes with. So you you are using 2 power supply cords. The only thing is male sure to use 2 separate outlets and if you can male sure the outlets are are on different circuits (Breakers). Or make sure nothing else is plugged in in that area as it does pull alot of power. Should take about 45 mins or so with double plugs. Hope this helps.

      @@darrinbridgman3002 thanks for the quick reply I'm from Ireland, dry ice is expensive here but I will add it to my cost of usage for the njght, how long typically would you get out of a basket of dry ice? Like would you even run it with just the one basket on the night without topping up or would the dry ice be metled straight away after the first usage and how long would a constant run go for minute wise?

    • @darrinbridgman3002
      @darrinbridgman3002 2 года назад +1

      @@Djcgamble 20lbs of dry ice per blow is what I put in the basket. It last about 2 1/2 - 3 mins. I offer first dance and private last dance while everyone is outside getting ready for the couples exit. There is no topping off. It all melts evey use. Let me know if you have anymore questions.

    not sure if getting the cumulus... cos I feel like dry ice handling and price is a bad thing, but this one looks amazing with regular ice lol

      This takes Dry ice. And I have another Dj friend that had the cumulus and returned it to get the Encore and hasn't looked back. This ma Hine is truly amazing. Don't let the handling of Dry ice deture you away. If you can find a welding supply they should have pellet Dry ice which works alot better and it's bagged up. Which you can just pour from the bag into the machine.

      @@re-spinentertainmentllc6275 thanks for the answer, but also the price of the dry ice.. and do you store it in a normal freezer? Not sure if it’s worth getting thr entour ice instead lf the nimbus
      And, in the video you use regular ice right? This is what I understood, but the effect looks amazing still

      @@19Jose91 No I use dry ice. I have both the Nimbus and the Entoure. No I do not store it in a regular freezer. I use a insulated cooler from Walmart. I actually have 2. One smaller one for smaller jobs. www.walmart.com/ip/Ozark-Trail-24-Can-Soft-Sided-Cooler-with-Hard-Liner-and-Microban-Black/989029535 That will hold 30 lbs of dry ice. And I have a larger one that will hold up to 60 lbs of dry ice. www.walmart.com/ip/Lifetime-55-Qt-High-Performance-Hard-Sided-Cooler-Grey-90949/490384164 The good thing about the Entoure is it can be operated by DMX so you don't have to leave from behind the DJ booth. Where as the Nimbus you do. Unless you have someone else operating the nimbus for you.

      @@re-spinentertainmentllc6275 Thanks.. still I think the 10kg dry ice charge are like 100€ in my country (120$ usd maybe the conversion?) and I feel like my profit wouldn’t be as much.. and the hassle of the dry ice and so. Can I ask you how much you charge for a ‘dance in the clouds’? I was thinking about charging 200-250€, 200 if I’d do it with a cumulus or any other non dry ice machine that could do the work.. but maybe I’m aiming too short? My weddings with 4 spark machines are around 1300-1500€, just as a guide.
      And the dmx thing.. do you think it’s feasible to do the effect and dj just by yourself? I frel like with this machine or the cumulus or the nimbus I’d need another person moving it in case the couple move from the center or so

      @@19Jose91 So I use my nimbus with smaller Venue's. And it is feasible to do it yourself. you just have to make sure you know your music timing. Don't be caught out on the dance floor working the machine and the music stop and not ready with your mic to give a proper ending to lets say their first dance. And here you are rushing back to the Dj booth. Always keep your mic in your back pocket with the nimbus, and know your timing on your music. With the Entour you never have to worry about any of that. You are right where you need to be at the Dj Booth with all your equipment. After the first dance is over all you have to do is go out and bring the Hose back in and that's it. On to the next thing.Here in Texas I charge 150. for First dance only and 225. For First and Private Last Dance.

    How much you pay for 28 pounds of dry ice? Another question is how much you charge for rent that machine in a wedding or quinceañera?

      Some times there is a little. It depends on how full you fill the water...and and make sure you Don t over fill the dry ice.
