I listen to Dr scholz multiple times and update . because I am a veterinarian and prostate cancer patient since 2 years and I am 74 years old and still working at Queens Animal Hospital as a veterinarian .
When Dr Scholtz touched spirituality and could not remain silent. for some reason I listened so many videos about life , meditation and others and that made me completely out of stress of life and deaths too, before even I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, I was completely prepared for that. I believe in modern treatment.
Because in life,we narrate hundreds of things,we don't have, but we have thousands of things that we have, for example life. I didn't ask for life and then life isn't mine and death is also not mine. So why should I worry of deaths. I am 74 years and loved life. Is not enough. supposed if I have been born 50 years before. This relieved me of any stress. Enough and nothing pending and no materialistic desire and peaceful only

I have been a Prostate Cancer patient for over 3 years and following PCRI activities most of that time. I believe Dr Scholz is one of the smartest doctors in the cancer care field. Dr. Moyed is without a doubt the best interviewer of Prostate Cancer professionals in the nation. When you have both of them working together to bring us great information we are treated to a magnificent flow of timely brilliant information that only results when two men love and respect each other. Thank you Dr. Scholz for sharing all of your expertise. I was diagnosed with Gleason 10 in February of 2023. Being a retired RN I have been able to gain a deep intuitive understanding of the disease from your videos. I am fortunate to have an excellent team comprised of a medical oncologist, radiation oncologist and urologist. Because of your videos I’m able to ask the right questions and truly understand the treatment options they are proposing. Again thanks for the videos and keep them coming.

Excellent information from the you guys; but by now that what we have come to expect! Once again you have influenced me. I was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer, a year and a half ago. PSA of 46 at the highest test. And after radiation plus Lupron shots! My PSA is 0.75 and continues to fall. I have not hit my PSA nadir. But, the good news is it continues to fall and we test it every 4 months, or 3 time a year! I am 13 months from my radiation treatments. And I been on Lupron shots for almost 18 months. But, I have decided to continue the Lupron shots for at least 24 months. To see if my PSA hit the magic number of < 0.1, thanks to the excellent information I get from these videos. I have used the information as wise counseling. As I fight the good fight against prostate cancer. PS, I have not been sick from the prostate cancer at all over the 18 months fight! And that’s what’s up!

I was diagnosed with Gleason 10 in all 12 cores and a PSA of 137. I was put on Lupron and started taking Xtandi prior to my IMRT treatments. I received 9 weeks of IMRT. My PSA dropped to less than 0.1 about half way through treatments. I am still on Lupron and have been taking Xtandi for the last 6 months. Hope my PSA stays at less than 0.1. In my opinion Xtandi is one of the prostate cancer miracle drugs.

I was diagnosed with prostate cancer/ bone Mets almost 2yrs ago. I am currently on Zytiga and Lupron with a fluctuating PSA number. I am working closely with my doctor and doing everything I can do to help myself. I am 65 now and played sports in my youth which lead to some knee issues and now I’m thinking about taking collagen to help but I just heard I should stay away from animal protein which is the best source of collagen comes from. So, I hear you but what would you recommend as a replacement? Thank you for sharing your knowledge, expertise, and experience. You have definitely given thought to my continued conversation with my doctor. Very helpful.

After seeing Dr. Scholtz 's earlier videos on avoiding animal foods i went on a strict whole plant based diet and a weight training regimen. 3 months later my PSA plummeted to 0.01. And has remained there for 3 years now! I am absolute living proof that a plant based diet has a massive impact on advanced prostate cancer survival. Thank you Doc Scholtz . So grateful i found this channel years ago!

Listening as typing. I just took a 3T MRI Scan. It said I have a Pirads 4/5. This is despite having a PSA of 1.5 up from 1.0 a little over a year ago. Over the past 2 years I have had slightly elevated ALP levels 130-140 (120 normal). My nodule size is .2 by .6 by .8. Smaller which is why it wasn’t a 5/5.
On the positive side I had a exodx test of 4% which says it’s highly likely not to be aggressive.
Question: should I get a PSMA pet scan (I live next door to UCLA) or possibly get a MPMri Prostate specific scan with and without contrast…and THEN get a biopsy if warranted…or just go straight to Biopsy. Tx!!!

Normal prostate tissue produces PSA. There are established limits to the PSA for non cancerous prostate tissue (roughly below 4 is probably "OK). So why is the PSA nadir value set at "below 0.1" after radiation/hormone therapy? Non cancerous prostate tissue could still produce PSA up to a value of 4 before getting worried.

How can you tell if the Lupron has 'run out of gas' when taken together with hormone or chemo treatment?
The radiation spoken about for 8-10 metastatic areas (lymph nodes), is that Proton Radiation or ?
My Husband's (age 82.5) prostate was radiated (40 treatments) in 2018 (with 5+4 Gleason in a few samples).
Then he received Lupron with: Casodex, Abiratatone, Zytiga, Xtandi.
Last week, he had #1 of Taxatere infusion (every 3 wks for 6 treatments) with anti-nausea & low dose steroid because of those few metastatic areas (largest 3/4") at the kidney level + a lower lung lesion that has been negligible (for >20 yrs) with no growth...until now (it's 1/2").
Prolia is on the horizon. Will follow up on the Neulasta, DEXA, Calcium & Vitamin D.
Many Thanks for imparting this invaluable & timely info, for keeping us in the loop.

I have stopped all ADT treatments due to the debilitating side effects I was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer in June of 2022. No side effects from the Melatonin and now back to work full time. I was unable to work for more than a few hours a week under ADT and zitiga. The Zitiga gave serious liver issues and had to come off of it after 3 months. Dr. Switched me to Nubeca and the same thing happened to my liver. Not sure why he put me on the Nubeca as it offers no real OS with someone with metastatic cancer.
If you just go to PUBMED and search Melatonin and Prostate cancer you will see over 200 peer reviewed papers on the cancer killing properties of Melatonin.
