I think it's important to note that some positions involve high risk, neutralising attacks as well as having to be progressive and impact the game positively.
You can't say someone else gets a 9 for running and Fred gets an 8. Fred gave a 12/10 for effort, risk, goals and (assist) or goal involvement and impact on the game.
I'd rather a player lose the ball trying to attack than be a cowardly neutral player.

Great second half performance, I wasn’t worried at any stage against Barca even when we were 1-0 down. Ten Hag is the real deal, his subs and tactical changes win us matches.

I have to be harsh, it is worrying a lot of fans don't know football and are blaming Fred in the first half when Sancho offered NOTHING and outworked Fred. I heard ETH say multiple times that Antony and Garnacho are fearless, that nails what I have been saying since last season, Sancho can't cut it. People need to learn the game FOOTBALL!
Sancho is more of a playmaker than a winger, his game play shows that. He's more willing and able to create chances instead of taking a player on and scoring. He makes quick passes and his movement tends to open space for others to score.
I agree with the technical stuff but that's not enough, he is not aggressive offensively and also does not help defensively in anyway. He is literally scared of a contact.That is why he will struggle to cut it anywhere on the field for ETH.
@Marcus Mate I am not picking single incidents. What I am saying about Sancho is the reason ETH took him out of the team in the first place. If you read well, I said since last season. Sancho avoids contact he can't cut it, he is scared. The sooner you accept it, the better for you. I am not a fan per say of Bruno and Rashford but I appreciate effort and ETH obviously does

In my opinion Bruno was looking for the ball to anthony, but fred intercepted the ball which make the goal even classier from fred with his right foot.
I think people jusy get amnesia when Fred plays well. He was infact one of our best players on the first had, he only had 3 misplaced passes in the entire first half, so that score is unjustified. He attacked, defended, man marked De Jong, Sérgio Roberto all in the same game. Some people have preconceived idias about him and only see what they want

Weird scores today lads. Did you watch the Bruno penalty he gave away. I agree, he's brilliant, but that and the first half loose passes, (which everybody kills Fred for, even though HE's also doing match winning passes now he's able to play in the attacking half of the field more). Casemiro also over scored. He saved us, and he's amazing, but he was also a little bit pish at times yesterday.
What I'm saying is, you can't give our geniuses a free pass, but then (even if it's about right) give Weghorst and Sancho 5's. Even their performances were as much down to slightly wrong tactics in the first half. And I would have preferred to see Sancho stay on. He needs game time, and he was looking better out left. Better use of the ball than his replacement. Maybe a last 10 minutes for Garnacho.
But anyway, always a fun listen.
