Nice picks for the readathon. I love Mary Roach as well, her combination of humor, knowledge, and personal experiences blends so well and all the ones I've read so far have been great!
This has to be some kind of record, how fast you got this TBR up! As usual, your picks are impeccable. Love the idea of reading through your Mary Roach collection ahead of reading her new one - which is fantastic, by the way! I almost laughed up a bit of lung during one section 🤣
Oooo I’m going to try and see if I can guess which bit that is when I read it 😂 I’m just really wanting some non fiction and I love the readathon I can’t wait to see your picks. X
Oh I'm loving your TBR! I feel like Mary Roach is an author I'm really going to enjoy. Corrupt Bodies - oh my gosh that sounds so grim but also fascinating!
Wow, I’m impressed you got your TBR out so quickly! I usually have my books picked by the end of the day the announcement comes out, but I’m having think more deeply about it this year. The prompts are definitely requiring more creativity.
I look forward to hearing what you pick. I think because I had been thinking about it a lot before, they were easy to pick and I was so excited I couldn’t wait
I really value my library. There are so many wonderful books available. The Library, Well Read Black Girl, Corrupt Bodies sound really interesting. I'm looking forward to hearing your reviews. I think my non-fiction November is going to be very low key this year. I need to commit to a couple of books rather than reading too many non-fiction books at once.
Are you going to be making a tbr video or just seeing how you get on. I’m currently saving some of your videos to watch always exciting to have someone new join the community.
@@elenareadsbooks88 I'm probably not going to manage a non-fiction tbr video. My work life has taken over everything in the last few weeks. I'm actually too exhausted to read at the end of the day, which isn't great when I've just started a Booktube channel 😟 I do want to get back to reading more non-fiction generally. I've not read much this year. Thank you so much.
Great TBR for Nonfic Nov! I still need to read a Mary Roach, Stiff is on my physical TBR and I hope to pick it up this November. Which book of hers is your favorite?
So far stiff and packing for mars have been my favourites I think. Stiff sent me down a rabbit hole it was there I learnt about body farms and went on to read Deaths acre which is amazing and a must read if you like that sort of science crossed with real life murder cases and it is also written in a readable way like roachs books x
She’s so worth reading I love that she approached science with humour and a light touch that doesn’t alienate people like me who are not scientifically intelligent. I loved stiff the most so far I think as well as packing for mars

Great TBR! I’m approaching the treatment prompt similarly to you, but I’m reading From Here to Eternity by Caitlin Doughty.
I really liked her first book and love her RUclips channel I think it’s so important to discuss death more openly
Very interesting books, thank you. I do enjoy reading non-fiction and particularly memoirs so The Librarian sounds really good to me :)
I also love a good memoir so I can’t wait to learn a bit more about working in a library

Great choices! I am reading Fuzz by Mary Roach now and it is great.
I just love how she injects humour and readability into what could be dry and sciency

@@elenareadsbooks88 Great recs! I'm definitely intrigued by her work.
It’s a very interesting TBR! I’ve never read Mary Roach, but I definitely want to give her books a try.

I know I’m always excited when this time comes it really gets me excited about my non fiction shelf. 🥰 let me know what you decide to pick up
Gave Corrupt bodies 3 ⭐
