It is still, brother. Society just pushes us towards social settings to validate ourselves but being content with yourself is the biggest threshold you must break if you want to find happiness in life. It's a big leap, but what else can one strive for. Good luck.
I think mine would be a song called "Always Mine" or "A place in Heaven" actually, I think both. They're by Thomas Bergersen. Ooh also I want "lift the atmosphere" played too! :D
You know in ratatouille when the critic takes a bite of ratatouille, then has an immediate flash back to his childhood, I just had the same thing at 0:03
Back when everything seemed alright.... back when my best friend and I would play this game all the damn time. Spending hours just talking and building. Damn, i miss those days. Rest in peace bud, you are so missed..
For me, the scariest thing was the nether, when i first encountered a ghast i yelled to my older brother what to do, snd he said to bouce the projectiles back, so i did. Never been so proud in my life... ;')
This song will always be one of my favorites. It reminds of the time when I was still a noob at Minecraft, which few people will admit, was undoubtedly their favorite period in playing the game, when they were just learning. This song reminds me of when I used to wait countless hours for PaulsoarsJr's next episode in his Survive and Thrive series. When there were still things to discover. But now, I am sad. I couldn't sit through another 20 minute episode now that I already know everything. Sometimes I wish I could go back. Back to when hostile mobs surprising me would literally make be jump in my chair. Back to when I could keep a Survival world for more than one week... When I see people saying that the game has gotten worse, update after update, I laugh. It's less about how Minecraft has changed, and more about how Minecraft has changed each and every one of US. We can never truly enjoy it as much as we used to unless we forget all there is to it, which simply isn't possible. Even still, we can always return to listening to this song, and remembering our most sacred moment from a game we love. I think mine has got to be when I found I could swap that cruddy Minecart with a Furnace for some powered rails instead. :') How about you?
I remember one episode where they turned diamonds into Stone Brick, One of the guys put ONE diamond in this matter converter type thing and it made thousands of bricks. They were using it to build a factory, which creepers kept blowing up.
i remember back in 2012 when i built my house at a server with friends and then it was wiped and i cried and this song played, idk why i still cry of it
Sometimes I just wish to go back in time and erase the experience I had with minecraft, just to start all over again. Building my first house finding my first diamond. Being all scared because of all the mobs around your house. I miss the good old 1.3 till 1.7.3 days after that It wasn't the same anymore. Singleplayer became boring and muliplayer started to grow, now it's just all one big box of commands and special blocks. Rest in peace good old minecraft, rest in peace :(
I remember once there was a server I played about always. Then one day, the admin decided he can't run the server anymore, and closed it. But before they closed it, they destroyed everything. It's one thing to reminisce on the past, but it's something else entirely to miss it as much as I do.

Bro I just started listening to this and it started raining and it's night holy crap the ambience I feel like I'm in one of those lo-fi live stream thingy's. You know what I'm talking about.
People say that the 8 year olds ruin Minecraft. If you really think about it, that's a good problem to have, isn't it? I mean, I'd rather have this generation be playing games that actually make you think rather than playing all those M rated Call of Duty games and learning how to cuss. I'm not saying those games are bad- I enjoy shooters myself. But it makes me happy to know that kids are actually playing a decent game like Minecraft. Plus, Minecraft revolutionized gaming as a whole, adding the want for "sandbox" games, and no game has ever done it as flawlessly as Minecraft, being one of the most moddable games in history. Think again when you start complaining about little kids playing Minecraft, as they are the future of America and the world, and I'm not sure if I want any of those Call of Duty kids being the President of the United States or something like that.
+TheImmortalAmpharos I know what you mean. I have a nephew that plays Minecraft, and he's really creative and fun to be around. I have another nephew who also plays Minecraft, but primarily plays shooter games on the Xbox... He can be a little mean at times...
+TheImmortalAmpharos Very true, but they still learn the, "Friend no one and kill everyone" concept, they get a full diamond kit, which back in the old days, no one needed. And they kill eachother, enchant weapons (upgrade) with that they could start to kill in real life too.
Everybody, everybody, it's called, click edit profile, select allow alpha or beta versions of minecraft, then choose which version you wanna play from the list.
Damn, i'm almost 18 now, Its been a long time since i began my adventures in minecraft, I can remember it like it was just yesterday, selecting peaceful survival because i was a wimp, lol.
The golden age of Minecraft will be remembered and missed. 2011 was a special year for me. Never again will I go through the joy of finding diamonds after a 4 hour mining trip, never again will I feel amazed to walk through those insane mountain ranges like in Glacier, and not to mention the ideal to build and survive. If you have played in the slightest bit of Beta you will soon find out why us old players miss Alpha, Beta, or even Infdev so much. It's very rare to find servers up today that are attempting to revive that old nostalgic feeling. The music back the never seemed to annoy anyone, and whenever you went on long walking expeditions you would feel relaxed or calm. It was a good year but we all have to move on eventually. *~RIP Old Minecraft 2009-2012~*
Oh, the days of vanilla servers. Trying so desperately to hide your base from people, only to have it destroyed every other day by hackers. Pack up, rebuild. I miss those days.
Ahhhhhhh... the good ol days when Minecraft didn't have that fancy creative menu, spawn eggs and stuff like that. Just mods and a wide opeb world of blocks. I... kinda miss those days... :')
I first got Minecraft when I was 4, not on a computer but on a really old iPhone. It was the demo, I would watch videos of people playing, herobrine and pokemon mods, I wished I had a pc. My friends all enjoyed minecraft but none of them had it, we would just talk about it. But i played it with my brother, we would always build cool things, disccover new things, i remember my neighbour had it on computer, he too was new to it all. I remember we would go over and play it with him, we messed around with golems in creative, he had a survival world with a lighthouse, a cave, and a ship dock. I remember my brother built a transformer on his tablet, and because of the demo deleting worlds, he never closed minecraft for months. I still remember all of my old houses.
Im a toddler in the mc community, maybe only playing for a year, but minecraft is still so important to me. I found friends that didnt judge me for my anxiety. I found friends that knew what no one else did. I found friends that cared like no one could. I found friends that loved me when no one else did. I met so many people here. friendships blossomed and it's beautiful. everyone here is reminiscing, while im excited for whats next to come. i hope yall have had a similar experience.
I remember in Alpha watching videos on how to survive your first night... Then eventually all the little kiddies started playing it and it went to shit. The end.
I still play minecraft to remember when u used to build with friends and play survival.. i play other games too, but minecraft will always have a special place in my heart.
I still remember the days when I still played Minecraft, and a lot of other games as well on the 360. Here's a list of the games I miss Forza horizon (the first one) Minecraft Halo 3 Gundam dynasty warriors Gears of war Edit: there are more games but I forgot the titles
I remember when I used to actually do cool and creative stuff in minecraft(well, PE) build a spaceship, a spaceship wreck, a city, a walled town, back when I had mcpc too, all the cool things. Now the spark is gone, I just play minecraft nowadays when my cousins come over. I tried to make something again recently, but the fun and creativity weren't there anymore, I miss childhood...so much ;-;
I don't understand why but Minecraft became less fun after 1.7.3. it just lost whatever it had. I wish I could go back and forget everything about how Minecraft is now and go back to how it used to be.
True, good ol days are 1.4.7~1.6... They add unnecessary things, and the server are now about "getting ranks", ol servers are for having fun together.. I miss Mc :(
Tom Swift I've played fruitfully through every update since the Halloween update of 2010, and I must say the "new" and "old" Minecrafts are both good. However, they are definitely different. I recently went back to play Beta 1.7.3 and assumed that the only reason I liked it so much was because of "nostalgia." Boy was I wrong. The older versions have a DISTINCTLY different feel to them, and it's like playing a different game entirely from the newer updates. To everyone: if you haven't played Beta (or haven't played it in a long time), *go back and try it.* You can get it from the launcher. Some may argue to go back to Alpha or earlier, but I believe Beta 1.7.3 is a great time in Minecraft development. $0.02
13 here remembering my 8 year old self.. Building away at massive cobblestone castles, back when you were judged by how much diamonds you had found or how big your cobblestone castle was; instead of How fast you speed bridged in hypixel Minecraft is a nostalgic masterpiece. Its music brings back memories from so much of us. This game truly changed the world. I would have never met the people i know today if it werent for Minecraft. I wouldnt be the same person. Without this game, I do not know what i would be doing in those hard times. To You, Mojang, C418, Thank you. You have changed my life and touched so much other's heart. you have released our creative side, and through stuff like MC coins, micro transactions, and shit like the combat update, this game has a permanant place in my heart, as well as so many others. Thank you.
Ratz I think he should have. He had a vision for the game and that vision has dissipated as time went on (I think). Its not a surprise that the recent updates are bigger. I'm guessing Notch would have stopped these things if he still had a voice
@@DiscontinuedChannelOne Notch sold the game for his own good, he didn't know in what direction minecraft was heading, we can still smile and play the old worlds we have on our beta 1.8 game and finish that god damm mansion
i remember sitting on the roof of my wood hut and watching the sun set. This would play most of the time, and this reminded me of those days. Good times.
Thank you so much for this It took me back to the days when even being alone was full of thrilling experiences I remembered all the games i played with my friends who dont talk to me anymore Absolutely beautifull, will remember this till the day i die Minecraft in my heart❤
I remember screaming when seeing a zombie and freaking out of a spider and tried to stop a active powerail and watching scary videos of herobrine Miss those days
Does anybody else remember the days of the alpha, the friends we made, the friends we lost. Thank you Minecraft for making my childhood that much more special. :')

The year is 2011, you have been playing with your friends late into the night. As you fade away into slumber with the sound of Sweden as a lullaby. Waking up the next morning you see that no one is online. Day after day this carries on until you give up hope of ever seeing your friends again in this online world. Keep the memories you have of this game close to your heart, but better still keep the friends you played it with closer.
for me was like RUclips 2011: yes... RUclips 2012: YES! RUclips 2013: YEEEEEEEEEES! RUclips 2014: meh... RUclips 2015: so guddd! RUclips 2016: hmmm... RUclips 2017: oh yeah RUclips 2018: nope RUclips 2019: i want to go back in time, to my first world, on my dead oldest hdd ,-,
Beta 1.3_01.. The first version I ever started playing.. I still remember sitting in the dirt house I made, scared of all the monstrosities, watching the first basics on youtube.. This song gives me back a piece of something I actually miss.. My childhood I don't have no more. It's 2019, and I want it to be 2011 all over again..
+MinBCraft Your 13, Mc came out in 2011, so you wish for the days that are still? To many you are just a teen rising, but still considered a child to many.
When you remember the time where Minecraft had no hunger bars you are a legend buddy. And RUclips was more or less a simpler time back then. Damn I miss them two.
Man hearing this song... It brings back memories for all of us. Surviving alone, or building with friends. Things seemed simpler back then, back when the only worry was a creeper or a skeleton. Back when the world was so big and we were so small. Wether it was laughing with out friends or crying on our own, Minecraft is a big part of our childhoods. Back then, things seemed worth holding out for. And you know what? They still are...
I hear this song much time.. And its remind me to my friends.. In that time, its a wonderful day.. And its make me sad when me and my friends grows up.. Yu kno.. When you going 'up'.. The old thing it will be just a memories and we cannot bring back or going back into that time again.. Its so deep bro..
Lowkey get depressed listening to this. The fact there was a time of no stress, toxicity, and there was nothing to do but minecraft. The fact that, now, it will never be the same as it used to. Brings a tear to my eye
***** Yes, the game still exists, but the auto-generated worlds where I played once, no. I still remember my first house, it was in a swamp, and I was playing with my brother. We still didn't know anything about the Enderman, and when we saw it, we thought it was a glitch. Then, he teleported to our house and we started to cry and run away! Good times.
LeLucky90 I remember the first time I played. It will never leave me. I spawned in a forest, built a dirt house, and saw an Enderman. The best thrill ever was that single moment. I must always build a roof three blocks high, out of pure love of Endermen. They are the best. I always hesitate fighting one. Not of fear. In the morning, I decided to start a little work. That Enderman didn't move. When I finally left, I almost cried. That one day I started playing was amazing. I still love the game.
Back in the day, whe this was the game people loved, people enjoyed for its simple mechanic but a whole new concept it was simple yet beautfull ❤️ miss those days
la verdad si pero ademas relaja es como un espacio de paz, como algun paisaje, la brisa de un lluvia, el final de algo eso es lo que siento en mi corazon cada vez que la escucho

Okay, that 's deep. Thank you.
But I was referring to the game's single player mode being fun back in the game's early days haha :D
Dean Natuno haha, yeah I should've put a disclaimer that I didn't have a clue what you were referring to! But yeah I agree haha
But I need love.
I need this song at my funeral

I think mine would be a song called "Always Mine" or "A place in Heaven" actually, I think both. They're by Thomas Bergersen.

I don't know what I'd have. Maybe something along the lines of this.
now that's a true meinkraft player who grew up with the game

+TheDanishWaffle yeah but kids don't rage NEARLY as often as they do in COD
You sir should be president

In my opinion the Minecraft & Team Fortress 2 Soundtracks are the best!
I'm guessing because that's all you play? :P I play those games too, don't worry I'm not trying to be a douche.
No, I play many other games. Those two are just the soundtracks I listen to the most. The portal soundtrack is pretty bad ass
Yeah. I think my favourite though is Mass Effect 3- Leaving earth. It sounds so good. C:
HL OST? BF1942 OST? PORTAL2 OST? Q3A OST?
All good soundtracks
8 years later and I enjoyed every second of this
Absolutely beautiful...moved me to tears.
back in the times when minecraft was actually enjoyable
edit: nvm it's still enjoyable
minecraft needs a revive I think all the platforms rewind the game and OP survers where you can't do shit
+owgames like with pc there should be a mode on minecraft consle that could change the update of the game
+vestedgold 2288 yeah its called delete all updates but one you want...
owgames Yeah but that doesn't really work
Everybody, everybody, it's called, click edit profile, select allow alpha or beta versions of minecraft, then choose which version you wanna play from the list.
I remember playing this game when i was 11 and i love to look back at those good innocent days when i was pure and happy that will never happen again
Are you crying? Am i crying? Yes, you're right, we're both crying.
tbh that's the best international gamer anthem, also the nostalgia.
Damn, i'm almost 18 now,
Its been a long time since i began my adventures in minecraft,
I can remember it like it was just yesterday, selecting peaceful survival because i was a wimp, lol.
C418? Is that you?
Taioo is secretly C418.
i ...i know haha lol
***** Yeah...
And all those crappy herobrine pics...
yaa
yeah
So Sad. I want the old Minecraft back.
I know, when ever this song comes on when I play, it reminds me of the good old days of betal 1.7.3 and lower. I miss Notch
Notch ;-(
this here is history
"History of a GAMER"
*tears flowing
+Angelo Ocampo yep.
Stfu dude xd
manly stuff dude
REAL manly stuff dude
Im a toddler in the mc community, maybe only playing for a year, but minecraft is still so important to me. I found friends that didnt judge me for my anxiety. I found friends that knew what no one else did. I found friends that cared like no one could. I found friends that loved me when no one else did. I met so many people here. friendships blossomed and it's beautiful. everyone here is reminiscing, while im excited for whats next to come. i hope yall have had a similar experience.
I remember in Alpha watching videos on how to survive your first night... Then eventually all the little kiddies started playing it and it went to shit. The end.
its just pvp and plugin servers and csgo and shit in minecraft now...
This just takes me way back. When I just wanted to build pyramids.
I still play minecraft to remember when u used to build with friends and play survival.. i play other games too, but minecraft will always have a special place in my heart.
The Good Beta Feelings
Ikr
I still remember the days when I still played Minecraft, and a lot of other games as well on the 360.
Here's a list of the games I miss
Forza horizon (the first one)
Minecraft
Halo 3
Gundam dynasty warriors
Gears of war
Edit: there are more games but I forgot the titles
I remember when I used to actually do cool and creative stuff in minecraft(well, PE) build a spaceship, a spaceship wreck, a city, a walled town, back when I had mcpc too, all the cool things. Now the spark is gone, I just play minecraft nowadays when my cousins come over. I tried to make something again recently, but the fun and creativity weren't there anymore, I miss childhood...so much ;-;
now gamers stand up to the national anthem
I don't understand why but Minecraft became less fun after 1.7.3. it just lost whatever it had. I wish I could go back and forget everything about how Minecraft is now and go back to how it used to be.
no it didn't, sure they added a few unneccesary things, but it purely became boring from playing it excessively
$0.02
I am stuck on the 1.5.2
Ray Gamerz Its still much better now with the EULA in place
13 here remembering my 8 year old self.. Building away at massive cobblestone castles, back when you were judged by how much diamonds you had found or how big your cobblestone castle was; instead of How fast you speed bridged in hypixel
Minecraft is a nostalgic masterpiece.
Thank you.
Whenever I hear this and close my eyes it reminds me of my childhood and my dad 😢 pushing me on the swings 😢 😭
Notch should've never sold minecraft
Ratz I think he should have. He had a vision for the game and that vision has dissipated as time went on (I think). Its not a surprise that the recent updates are bigger. I'm guessing Notch would have stopped these things if he still had a voice
Temp John stfu (jk sorry) I think he sold it because he ran out of ideas for updates and wanted to become richer
@@DiscontinuedChannelOne Notch sold the game for his own good, he didn't know in what direction minecraft was heading, we can still smile and play the old worlds we have on our beta 1.8 game and finish that god damm mansion
Fun yeah that’s true it’s just I couldn’t do It and I was tired
It was really mentaly taxing for him to keep working on it
i remember sitting on the roof of my wood hut and watching the sun set. This would play most of the time, and this reminded me of those days. Good times.
So many memories when I hear this...
I remember the first time I played Minecraft...
:)
dad: why are you crying
me: nothing
also me:
Thank you so much for this
It took me back to the days when even being alone was full of thrilling experiences
I remembered all the games i played with my friends who dont talk to me anymore
Absolutely beautifull, will remember this till the day i die
Minecraft in my heart❤
Everytime i play alone with difficulty peaceful and with this music
I remember screaming when seeing a zombie and freaking out of a spider and tried to stop a active powerail and watching scary videos of herobrine
Miss those days
Does anybody else remember the days of the alpha, the friends we made, the friends we lost.
Thank you Minecraft for making my childhood that much more special.
:')

Are there Minecraft players who were not borned when Minecraft was released ?
EDIT: A *final* Minecraft version was released the 18th November 2011
the overwhelming bittersweet nostalgia is so damn beautiful.

It sounds exactly like it dude. Nothing is different

I still remember sitting in the dirt house I made, scared of all the monstrosities, watching the first basics on youtube..
This song gives me back a piece of something I actually miss..
My childhood I don't have no more.
It's 2019, and I want it to be 2011 all over again..

I never heard this song in the game once 1.7 came out
today, beta or alpha?😒 Wich one is it
they changed the music in 1.7 entirely I belive. Or in 1.6 already, not sure
I am pretty sure it plays in minecraft until now.
Joe S Today tho I have heard it a few times in 1.8
I hate the 1.7 music all the new songs were to fast and loud for minecrafts peacefulness. These old songs were way better
When you remember the time where Minecraft had no hunger bars you are a legend buddy. And RUclips was more or less a simpler time back then. Damn I miss them two.
almost makes me wanna cry anyone else
I can't stop :(
Me because 6 year old me whoud cry 100 tear's right now.😭
I love this mucik it mucik playing in my heart.Sorry for my bed English I am from Russia.
Алмазный Рацарь I hope you will read this and have a good day
Man hearing this song...
RUclips:
2011: no
2012: no
2013: no
2014: no

8 years later...
Now... i think minecraft changed a lot... and i grew up with this game... i miss these days...
100K subs special face reveal? Up to you though, love your videos man.
:)
Echolux thanks! yeah I already promised I'll do a face reveal when I hit 100K ;)
Taioo Btw, nice work on every video u made. Keep up the awesome work :)
I remember playing good old beta 1.7.3 without all these horses and rabbits and shit...
You know you can set it to older updates, right?
Welp ur educated, in mibecruft
Back when world gen was interesting and not every adventure map was parkour or someone doing something weird with command blocks.
Lowkey get depressed listening to this. The fact there was a time of no stress, toxicity, and there was nothing to do but minecraft. The fact that, now, it will never be the same as it used to. Brings a tear to my eye
Can I book you at my Funeral?
SRY IM LATE XD
minecraft!!!! i miss yo
Then start playing again. The game still exists and it's more complete than ever.
Good times.
Oh then, yes I understand your point totally. I also remember my first non-symetric cobblestone tower which I though was such an acheivement haha.
