    • @cutiepiettvjackson8744
      @cutiepiettvjackson8744 3 года назад +15

      actually, the first story was reasonable, the cop had no idea who they were.
      You are speaking from a perspective of knowing what they did in the car, you see, first off, they didn't really do much, sometimes ubers take extra passengers.
      You also have to bare in mind that the cop didn't show up early, he showed up when they were almost near the house, he had no idea whether or not they were TRULY criminals or if it was just a blind feeling.
      He also didn't see them acting creepy, that's why he didn't act to arrest them, you can't call backup for random strangers for no reason, cops do that when immediate danger is here, the guys didn't do anything, all they did was sit and stare.
      That wouldn't count as immediate danger in a cop's book, honestly. Even if the cop was riding with them, he may not have seen as a serious threat.
      Cops won't just arrest based on feeling, they may help you out in fear of something going wrong, but other than that, if they were not there to see the events, they won't arrest you

    • @JasonDevil06
      @JasonDevil06 3 года назад +16

      The two men were possibly armed and dangerous and cop was alone and the biggest priority was getting the potential victim out of the situation. Backup probably would've taken too long to respond plus there was no immediate danger as far as he knew and on top of that the cop didn't know what we know so he couldn't really arrest them for anything he knew the man was in trouble from instinct and the look on his face

    The first story went from scary to very unrealistic.
    1. No one in their right mind falls asleep in an Uber
    2. “he has plans for you” sounds like some cliche cult type saying
    3. A cop would never let a suspicious vehicle just drive off..

    • @yunosdoll
      @yunosdoll 3 года назад +5

      I get what you’re saying but again these mfs probably didn’t think they would get pulled over. The cop had no idea if they had concealed weapons and his priority was to get the dude out of the vehicle since he knew he needed his help.
      I don’t like cops but it would’ve looked way too suspicious if he suddenly radioed for backup as well. The car had no license plates either so it would’ve been easy for them to get away before he called for other officers.

    I know these are just fun horror animations, buuuut..
    1st story: Oh, a car with no plate (and apparently there's no description of it on the app) pulls up. No confirmation from the driver who they are or who you are? Better hop in! Nothing at all from the driver after you get in and they just take off? Better go to sleep! Then a dude covered in fresh stitches is suddenly in the backseat next to you talking about nefarious plans the driver has for you? NOW is the time to start wondering if you made a poor decision! Then, as other commenters pointed out, driving 100 mph down a back road highway without a license plate or head lights and getting pulled over without anyone being detained or even asked for identification, then being released, is ridiculous. "Want us to keep an eye on your house tonight since these psychopaths know who you are and where you live?" Uh, no, I want you to arrest them for kidnapping me and launch an investigation into whatever fucked up serial killer bullshit they have going on.
    2nd story: You drop a couple off, after first call you get another ride request and..huh..its at the exact location you picked the couple up from. This guy just wants to go a block over according to the app, but its a mistake. He actually knows the people you just picked up and dropped off but he wasn't with them before because who cares. He wants you to take them to the couples house. Yeah sure, just take some strange dude to the house of the couple you just dropped off. Whats that? Another request, well this guy is creepy so thank god! Oh, she some how knows everyone involved and is also going to the couple's house. What a small world! Just drive them all to a house with all the lights out. Now wait outside because the actual reason two strangers, one of whom wasn't even near where the original couple was, wanted to go to the house was because they forgot something and these fine citizens are just dropping it off. You wait with a bad feeling and then BOOM the second passenger is back at the car! "Come inside, there's blood everywhere and you need to take the woman to the hospital!" The door to the house somehow closes by itself behind you and you discover the couple was murdered by the strangers you picked up and took to the house. You undeservingly survive and a bunch of other couples die afterwards.
    I'm a little drunk and reading too much into this but jesus, these stretch far more than my belief can suspend.

    the two guys in the first story also would have been seen to just be an uber rider, like, the cop thought they were normal or the uber driver was normal
    The cop didn't know who they were, or how the boy got in the car, nobody told him, cops can't read minds and they know everything, that's you tell cops what happened, they'll only know if you tell them.
    That's why the first cop didn't arrest the two men, he really had no idea who they were or if they did anything wrong.
    actually, the first story was reasonable, the cop had no idea who they were.

      @@djwdjw15 Ikrr??? like okay let’s say he didn’t want to anger them in case they tried to do something and his top priority was to get that guy home safe but he could’ve called in for backup?? and not just let them get away idk it just doesn’t make sense. and for the second one, police comes into a house where two people were murdered and they find a guy hiding in the closet, wouldn’t they at first assume that he might be the culprit? like he’s at the crime scene covered in blood and the actual culprits left idk it just would’ve more complicated than this

      @@flowerlia2339 The two men were possibly armed and dangerous and cop was alone and the biggest priority was getting the potential victim out of the situation. Backup probably would've taken too long to respond plus there was no immediate danger as far as he knew and on top of that the cop didn't know what we know so he couldn't really arrest them for anything he knew the man was in trouble from instinct and the look on his face

    The first story sounds suspish. First when he woke up he didn’t know what time it was but didn’t mention his phone missing or being dead... why not check the phone like I’m sure 99% of us would.
    Also if a cop pulled over a car and he suspected them of kidnapping someone they would call for backup not just drive away and let the perps kidnap someone else.
    And if the rear plates were missing the cop would have also noted that and definitely asked for ID from everyone in the car. He definitely wouldn’t have let them go without a ticket.

    • @cutiepiettvjackson8744
      @cutiepiettvjackson8744 3 года назад

      The cop ever said he suspected them of kidnapping, he just said he noticed the guy was distressed.
      The cop had no idea who they were or what they did or if the men was even gonna hurt him, the cop was nowhere around when the scarred man talked about messing with the boy's face, so the cop didn't know it was gonna happen.
      You are speaking from a perspective of knowing what they did in the car, you see, first off, they didn't really do much, sometimes ubers take extra passengers.

      @@cutiepiettvjackson8744 my dad was deputy chief so I’m pretty confident when I say that if a cop pulled over a car that was speeding, headlights out, and no license plate, with a person clearly in distress, they wouldn’t just let the car drive away.
      At the very least the cop would have asked everybody in the car for ID then written a ticket for the traffic violations they had. If it was so clear that OP was in distress that the officer made up a story of OP having a warrant for his arrest to get him out of the car, he could have easily called for backup under the guise of having a “wanted” criminal.
      Even if he didn’t end up writing any tickets he would have gotten ID from everyone involved so that when OP was out of the situation and able to make a statement, they would have a starting point.
      Also, I’ve been pulled over for expired plates before and had 2 additional cop cars that were in the area stop by as well to make sure that backup wasn’t needed.

    I don’t care if I’m drop dead tired, I’m not getting in if I see a car that has no license plate. And in what world does it make sense to fall asleep while in a strangers car? I find it hard to believe someone could be that ridiculously stupid and reckless. And I have a bone to pick with the Uber driver in the second story. Why in the world would you take two complete strangers to someone else’s house when they can’t even confirm that they knew the couple you just dropped off? What made him think that it be a good idea if they can’t even identify the couple by name or the address? And to top it all off, why the hell would you stay if you just realized that something is wrong? Of all the idiotic things I’ve heard this takes the cake.
