I really hope there's a cure for this disease in the next 10 years, or at least something that halts the cerebellar degeneration. It's a fking nightmare watching only person I care in the world losing basic human functions such as talking, walking, writing, and swallowing.

I find that controlling my legs and feet to do my exercises in pt difficult. I have been in pt since last fall, but the spinal cord injury from transverse myelitis in the setting of MS makes control for tapping a foot or tapping on a step difficult. Somedays are great and I feel so good I can do it. Somedays my foot or leg will shake or not move at all when I do the same exercise. I do the step taps and taps on a mini cones at pt. Do you know what would cause that connection not to be there after I think I am doing well one week and not the next in spinal cord injury? They use a gait belt still and I do exercises in between the balance bars. I get frustrated having days that I do great and have control. Then I have no control to put my foot or take it off pedals on an exercise bike days later. The lack of control and sporadic nature of things working and then not is hard. Spinal lesion is T4-5 in dorsal part and brain lesions are spaced and there are many in the brain. I am getting the help I need, I just wonder about why signal can get through some days and not others.

Good exercises and ideas for me to try, BUT, why are you wearing pants with holes in them or possibly white paint splattered on them ?
